We stumbled upon this cosy spot on a rainy day in Taiwan, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The food was great — my toddler especially enjoyed the fried items, and we absolutely loved the udon. It reminded me of my time in Kyoto — the noodles were succulent, and the tempura was fresh and crispy. Definitely worth every penny.

However, the customer service could have been better. The cashier appeared to judge my Mandarin proficiency and repeatedly said she couldn’t understand me, even though I was doing my best. It took about 30 seconds to get my order across. I wish she had been a bit more patient and understanding.
