Why the long wait you asked? Because the food is Fresh, Tasty, and VERY Reasonably Priced. What were you expecting? A five star hotel service? Freshness is non-negotiable, EVERYHTHIG in the store is "made to order" that's why the extra wait time. Food almost always taste better when it's freshly done so they go hand-in-hand. The boss lady is incredibly patient and polite. She puts up with clueless customers like me all day long. I got a bowl of "salty" soybean milk, a cup of fresh soybean milk, FIVE Xiaolongbao and a pancake with egg all for LESS than $6 USD. Where da hell you gonna find that in America? ZERO chance. Yea, the wait can be long but for all of the reasons aforementioned, it was definitely worth the wait. Definitely...

The food is pretty good and the venue is very clean. Though we waited 40 minutes on a Sunday at 8:15. It’s definitely not good enough to wait 40 minutes. There are plenty of other places in Shingu with comparable or better food...

I will never go there again, food is not as good as the other Chinese traditional breakfast in Hsinchu but the waiting time is incredibly long (about an hour at Sunday), this is the most inefficient breakfast restaurant I have...
