Came on a weekday non peak early dinenr hour, and there were seats for us
Here is what we had: 🥬Blanched Canola Greens (烫A菜) - NT40 Nicely balanced and slightly seasoned with garlic and oil, it's rather healthy to pair with heavy dishes. I rate: 3/5 🌟
🍛 Braised Sliced Duck Rice (鸭片饭) - NT50 A small but hefty bowl of rice drizzled with braised duck gravy and sliced duck breast. The duck grease coats every grain of rice, which gives it an umami duck fat flavour. Duck goes well with the wasabi as a condiment, which cuts grease. I rate: 4/5 🌟
🍜 Dang Gui Ginger Soup Mian Xian (当归鸭肉面线) - NT70 This soup is very herby and carries a fragrant aroma of fresh raw ginger shreds. The dang gui slices carry a herbal scent that complements the flavour of duck in it. Duck chunks were mainly the Ribs area, which has lots of bones and not much meat. Mian Xian does not get starchy or soggy after soaking for long, and it's very much like rice noodles. Filling and hearty. I...

There's typically a queue but it moves relatively fast. Go straight inside, get a small wooden token with your queue number from the cashier. Then grab a pink order sheet and pick your food while waiting.
Had duck with rice, duck noodles and a small plate of duck (1 drumstick). The best dish is without a doubt their signature duck with rice. But even that I found the taste just... Average...
The noodles were soggy and gathered in a big clump, the soup was oily (and not the duck fat flavourful kind) and the meat was mostly bones.
The drumstick was okay. But the skin is inedible, incredibly gelatinous, tough and chewy. Couldn't bite through it.
Service was okay, the uncle was nice and the staff were efficient at cleaning the tables and making room for the next set of customers.
I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Especially if there's a long queue (on the previous evening there were about 15-20...

Just normal, nothing really nice or bad. I personally won’t want to line up just to eat there. I must mention again that food is very subjective. To me, it is too oily and monotonous-fried onion oil- no other taste. To others, it is delicious, so if you like that kind of mixture, you can try to wait in queue and try it out. Don’t expect good services as they are too busy to make sure customers don’t wait for too long - this is...
