東旅湯宿溫泉飯店 - 京閣苑 — Hotel in Jiaoxi Township

Nestled in a heart of downtown Jiaoxi Yilan, this hot spring resort provides an unparalleled retreat into relaxation and tranquility. The resort's main theme is a traditional Japanese-style ryokan which exudes elegance - from its welcoming wall-sized tori gate, tatami mats/sliding shoji screens, and yukata fitting experience . The rooms are equipped with natural hot springs which offer a soothing and rejuvenating experience. We appreciated that the rooms came with the necessary sundries, and we especially enjoyed the choice of shampoo/body soap. The staff are attentive and friendly, and we felt welcomed and valued. We arrived back to the hotel late and night, and the front desk helped us book a full-body massage session (even though it was late). The massage place was directly on-site and can be accessed via the lobby. Very convenient! In the morning, we had a kaiseki breakfast (we were given a choice of fish or chicken). The meal was beautifully presented and delicious. It was a delightful start to the day - definitely steps above the traditional Taiwanese breakfast found in most other hotel resorts! Parking was convenient (directly behind the hotel) and the hotel has plenty of spaces for its customers.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a calming atmosphere and a friendly reception from the staff. When it comes to evaluating a hotel, my top priorities are service quality, hygiene standards, and convenience. The team here excelled in all aspects, displaying exceptional patience and promptly addressing all inquiries and requests with a polite demeanor. The simplicity, cleanliness, and comfort of both the room and the hotel itself were noteworthy. Additionally, the proximity to train and bus stations not only saved us time during travel but also added to the overall convenience of our stay. 優點 : 內部裝潢明亮舒適、雙人房空間OK、浴池夠大、有可調的冷暖氣，同樓層隔音OK，室內拖鞋有防滑，各樓層都有冷熱開飲機，室外停車場空間夠大，櫃台與餐廳人員非常親切。

注意事項 : a. 上下樓層隔音因為房內有木造床板結構，樓上的聲響會較為明顯(此為個人感受，我的聽覺較爲敏感，入住當天，樓上走路或物品掉落時聲響會聽得到） b. 電梯空間較狹小，如有小朋友&長輩、大型行李或團客，須留意照應並分批搭乘。 b. 電視無第四台或MOD，只有網路媒體(Youtube, Netflex, disney+...等) c. 盥洗/浴池，僅有對內輸風系統，無對外窗，如有長輩需留意 d. 室內防災警示的紅燈位於床位明顯可視的區域，(如對光亮敏感者可能需要眼罩) e. 房門為電子密碼鎖，進出要多次輸入，建議手機拍照 (我記憶力差...根本記不得)

給館方的小建議 : a. 建議可增設除濕機，避免室內水氣與返潮狀況，造成室內漆面與地毯加速老化或髒汙。 b. 建議可於網站或入住時，先告知只有網路電視 (如果可以未來是建議增加第四台或MOD) c. 雙人房內只有兩個衣架，建議可再多加兩個

以下是個人入住心得 ，僅供參考： 每次來礁溪都會路過這間飯店，前陣子看到飯店重新裝潢翻修，就跟太太決定1/10來入住 （311雙人房）室內光線明亮整潔，泡湯的浴池也很大，房間鋪設地毯還有寬敞的空間，整體是很OK的。

晚上10點多要泡湯時，發現浴池的熱水量非常小，觀察了一陣子，還是在11點時和櫃台人員反應，櫃檯的小姐有上樓查看並反饋給主管，當下有告知沒有收到其他住客反映，有可能是當下用水量大；隨後有再提出一些方案，但當時已經十一點多了，無論是去湯屋盥洗或是更換到分館入住，我跟太太都覺得不太適合而且會給房務人員不便，況且這間房內的設備都被我們使用過了，跟太太討論後還是能淋浴還是能睡覺，只是沒有能泡到溫泉...就這樣吧。

隨即跟很緊張也非常關心狀況的櫃台小姐回覆，時間很晚了已經11點半了，造成她的不便，也很謝謝她非常關切狀況還有積極的處理，當下這問題應該無法即時解決，更不應該是身為櫃檯人員的她來承擔或著急。所以沒關係等明天早上退房時再反映就好，小姐也有提到會記錄並轉達給早班的同仁。

盥洗完也一點多快兩點了，要把剛剛浴池內測試的溫泉水放掉時，我還是很不死心(說真的多多少少當下情緒有受影響)，又再那邊開水測試，忽然發現為什麼出水口調節水量的開關(可以用硬幣扭的)熱水和冷水的方向是不同的，經調整後...果然是那個水量開關被調小了，因為調整後水量就正常了...T__T。兩點多了…頭髮都吹乾也累了...就睡吧。

早餐是預定套餐的，有一個雞肉(忘記餐點名字)和南洋咖哩豬(微辣)，餐點的口味都很OK，用餐區域的桌位擺設，因為是方桌，如果是雙人對坐時，距離會明顯的較遠，蠻特別的...
