Found this place and decided to give it a try. Not sure if I was attracted by the name of the shop, wondering if they used the hot spring water to cook the ramen or made the soup. Visited on a weekday night on a public holiday season. It was crowded but we managed to get a table immediately. Walk into the restaurant first and approach the staff to get a table number before proceeding to the machine to take your orders. There's actually an extended area next to the entrance and main dining area so there's quite a lot of seats. Actually isn't much variety in the machine to choose from. Also wanted to eat agedashi tofu but it was unavailable. Ended up ordering 2 different types of noodles and a side to share. There is this interesting outdoor dining area where one can dip the feet into the hot spring water while dining. Looks interesting but no one was doing that maybe the night was a little cold. First came the spring onion ramen and it tasted very average at the first taste, but it becomes special after mixing the spring onion into the soup and a different flavour comes out from the soup and it tasted pretty good. Quite unique but definitely good. On the other hand, the soup from the prawn ramen was okay. Average and wished the flavours could be stronger. The noodles were also pretty average, the prawns were pretty nicely shelled, making it easy to eat, but lacking in a bit of freshness. Also ordered a fried squid which was quite decent. It was drained very nicely you don't find much oil on it. There was lemon and some spice powder provided but I preferred to have it original. Not an expensive meal but I guess the highlight has to be the scallion ramen which is worth a try. Don't judge until you have mixed it with the soup and give it a while for the flavours...

I love Ramen, I eat a lot of Ramen place, and this place is good. Price for the Ramen is acceptable with the richness soup and very strong garlicky aroma and green Orion on top of that, it was just perfect 10/10 no doubt(I ordered garlic favor Ramen plus extra green Orion). Kids Ramen was good as well. Except the side dishes that I ordered, it's delicious alright but a bit overpriced then I expect. After all, it was great to have quick lunch here, don't mind to visit again...
Read moreDIRT/SAND in ramen and terrible service. Accidentally ordered an extra portion and asked if it was possible to cancel it. The server said yes but glared at our table and rolled her eyes as she walked away. Afterwards when the ramen we ordered did come, we found the taste very brine-y and discovered a pile of silt (sand and dirt) in the clams/at the bottom on the bowl. We brought this to the server’s attention, she muttered a very impatient “sorry”, took the ramen away, and without asking brought back a plate of equally filthy clams. Very disappointed in the service and hygiene standard of this restaurant. Absolutely would...
