Paid more than normal rates to stay here over new year eve. Somehow their electrical censor system broke down at 12am causing total blackout. There were families staying here, having fun & watching count down LIVE on the TV etc. Took them almost 1.5 hours to rectify the problem, meaning no TV, there’s no AC, no lights, the toilet doesn’t work…
Closer to 1:30am, nobody expects this to happen, so we all thought there’s no point arguing with the staff on night shift, everyone is just trying to get some sleep at this rate. We were hoping that the managers/person in charge will do something about it next day when we check out.
11am during checkout.. super long lines with angry customers being unhappy with whatever happened last night. Turns out… there’s no compensation, no partial refund, not even cash vouchers/credits or anything. Just one single small muffin as a token for “sorry for the inconvenience.” As if everything was a joke 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Read moreVery nice new hotel. Very central in Jiaoxi. On the pricey side, but you can get good deals booking well in advance. I had to ask for a different room on check-in as it was obvious someone had been smoking in the room I was first offered. The hotel should make the non-smoking policy more explicit at checkin.|Bathroom includes a hot pool of a good size, as well as the usual shower.|The couch is useless, uncomfortable, and poorly designed. Did no-one actually try them out? Looks fancy but horrible to use.|The desk is a decent size but would be better without a cross-bar underneath which you constantly bang your shins on!|Nice comfortable bed. Lighting is easy to control from the bed.|Pleasant and helpful staff.|Good range of food at breakfast which runs to 10.30am. They also offer a dinner buffet and there's a cakeshop/bakery as part of the lobby.|Recommended if it's in your...
Read moreVisited the hotel with my family, stayed in room 720, great food, room, ambience and roof top hot spring facility, just that roof top hot spring area closes from 11:30 to 2:30, which is a bit inconvenient. Most of the staff members we saw are very polite and accommodating! A female staff member we saw at 11:30 on the 14/Nov at the hot spring reception was not friendly at all. She was the only staff at the hot spring area at that moment. There were two hair dryers hanging on the wall, one of them was not working. I passed the broken hair dryer to her and reflected this issue. She simply took the hair dryer without a word and totally ignored me. Her expression showed that she absolutely didn’t want to be there. She was unbelievably rude and way below Taiwanese...
