DO NOT STAY at this "hotel".
Turn up the sound to hear the bathroom racket in the video.
We paid 2600 NTD per night for 3 nights and they gave us a room across the street where the entrance is literally in a dark sketchy alley. The front door does not even lock properly due to pressure differences so anyone could just come in wily-nily.
The room is for three with a double bed and a single bed but it's literally half the size of a double bed room in the main building.
This is clearly a converted apartment building that is not adequately sized as a hotel. I've stayed in hostels with better rooms that cost less than half the price.
An even larger issue is their bathroom fan which makes a god awfully loud racket due to a loose cover. This is seriously a sorry excuse for a hotel. We made the front desk staff aware of this issue and they did not even investigate and only told us "they are all like this".
In addition, the bathroom has no countertop to place toiletries and even the hotel provided ones are placed in the main room. Which by the way, is so small, there isn't any space to open your suitcase. Your only option is to open it in the tiny walk ways and trip over them in the middle of the night when you need to use the washroom.
It's ridiculous that they charge the same price for such a shockingly...
Read moreWe booked the two-floor room. The beds are upstairs on opposite sides which gives privacy. Hot spring tub and bathroom are on the first floor. I love the fact that I can enjoy hot spring in my own room. The location of the hotel is in the heart of jiaoxi. There are a lot of eateries within walking distance. There's also a public hot spring stream close by. AC is cold and works well. Beds and linens are comfortable. I would bring my own towels because I like mine fluffy. There's a water station on each floor so guests can get water (hot and cold) all the time. Free coffee and tea in room. As well...

Overall, it was incredible value for money, combining luxurious comforts. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to treat themselves to a memorable...
