A while ago Taiwanese friend took me to this hidden gem of the place for dinner which I greatly enjoyed, then recently when my friend from Europe was visiting Taiwan I’ve decided to invite her to visit this place. It was after some hesitation because my Mandarin language is very limited so I was afraid of running into troubles while ordering the food. This was not the case, the food card is bilingual and the staff offered us very nice recommendation and assistance in English. Actually the service is professional, polite and accommodating, you will feel very welcome at this tea house. The three course meal starting with soup and salad followed by main dish and finally by sweets and place’s speciality, the tea, was sophisticated, perfectly prepared and delicious. We paid around 350 nt$ per set which I think is very reasonable price. The elegant and tasteful interior with carefully chosen furniture and art makes you almost feel like at an art gallery and surely brings the tea drinking and dining experience to another level. Once, I went there to buy some tea leaves with foreign friends, the staff helped us by recommending options for gifts and even demonstrated the traditional ways to brew a fine cup of tea.
