大溝頂虱目魚米粉湯 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

1st try the mix fish soup, the fish soup is damn good, soup base is clear and simple, good for starting as breakfast.

The mix fish really exceed my expectation. My gf and I shared only one bowl and it’s more than enough!

We selected thick beehoon but the texture is not the one we had in Malaysia. It’s whiter and thicker and tastes like not cooked enough.

We also had beef look alike fish cake.

Remember to chop a seat before order. Do come earlier to avoid the crowd.

First time been here on Sunday morning @9：30am. Lots of people. No need to wait. We ordered fish belly ball soup, tempura, pork belly rice. Fish ball soup was totally impressed. 2/3 soup were fish balls. Tasted super fresh and tender, but please be careful on bone. Pork belly was above average. The worst one is tempura. Nothing special. No need to order if you aren't tempura lover. Overall, this is the must try traditional Kaohsiung breakfast place.

Simple local street food canteen style place and seating. The pork rice was great value and tasty especially with the spicy peanut sauce at 25 Nt. the milk fish noodles also tasted good. Only gave it 3 star rating as my husband sadly got sick after...
