主觀廚房.Subjective taste — Restaurant in Taichung

This burger place has been on my pocket list for a while, but the previous location was a little too far away from the city center. So glad they chose to open up this new location!

since the cheeseburger was sold out, I opted for the grand opening special— wagyu chuck blade burger and the caramelized onion pork burger. both were DELICIOUS!

the wagyu was marinated with black salt, rosemary, and parsley and perfectly cooked to medium. The seasoning elevated the flavor of the wagyu, but I felt that it could’ve been slightly saltier to balance the overall burger. I do have to comment on the cuts- it was excellent.

The pork burger won my heart. The use of arugula, house-smoked bacon, and caramelized onion paired the juicy pork patty really well and created a clean sweet/salty balance.

You can choose different sauces for the fries; I chose bbq and Mexican style garlic sauce! Yum!

I usually pair my burger with beer, but didn’t find one that I really liked..suggestion to the owners: please expand your alcohol menu :)

This is officially one of my favorite burger restaurants in Taichung!! can’t wait to try out all the different ones on the menu!!

超好吃的漢堡...

Today I tried a new Hamburger Store. It was my second time trying burgers here in Taiwan and this store much better.

FOOD: We ordered a cheese burger with truffle sauce which was incredible delicious. The sauce was definitely unique and makes me have more. We also ordered some fried plates with nuggets, onion rings and French fries. Crunch and not too oily. So great. We also had black and cold latte included in the set (latte has 80NTD of extra charge)

MENU: They have English Menu and pictures. And I really like the design of the menu. So cute.

SERVICE: we didn’t book a table for our lunch time and we came on Thursday Lunch. So we just waited a few minutes (around 10 minutes) and, after ordering, the food came really fast. However, I didn’t like that after eating we need to clean the tables and give back all the utensils.

PRICE: 1,110 NTD 兩位

For sure I’ll return to this burger shop.

🍔爐烤紅椒雞腿堡 [ Oven-roasted red pepper chicken burger ]: $330 [ 特製煙燻紅椒雞腿排/芝麻葉/牛番茄/切達起司/美乃滋/特製紅醬/洋蔥 ] Just another regular day of weekly friends gathering🙂, and struggling🥲 to decide where to eat🤣 I asked my friend to find the place this time😌 But, in my mind I wanted to eat burger, maybe from UpTown😗 But then, my friend came up with this ”Subjective Place”, which was subjective to our taste too🤣 Restaurant is interesting, liked the ambience, decorations and vibe☺️ I ordered the chicken burger and fried onions😋 Burger was really good for both taste and size☺️ Chicken was thick and roasted perfectly🥳 It was soft, juicy and had rich black pepper flavor😌 On the side there was salad and fries. Fries were thin and crispy🤩 Fried onions were delicious too. As a dinner food, it really ended our sunday perfectly🥳
