Hands down one of our favorite yakiniku (Japanese BBQ beef) places in Taichung! Top quality beef, great service and delicious side dishes. It’s slightly pricier than most, but you sure are paying for quality. And don’t worry, you don’t need to do all the cooking, professional staffs will do the bbq for you to make sure the meats are cooked to perfection. They do have a good beverage list filled with good sakes, wines and bubblies. And yes, cold beers are available, too ;)

The food and service was amazing! Food quality and price was better than the beef I had in Japan. You are paying for 3 star service but getting 5 star service in return. Worth every penny. The restaurant is also inside this quaint looking Japanese house, which has private rooms upstairs for larger paries. The only downside is that they don't speak English here. Make sure you make reservations and bring someone who speaks Chinese!

一句話說表示這家店:滿手好牌卻滿盤皆輸。有好的店面好的肉質，卻沒有細節沒有堅持沒有服務，人的問題很大。最後面有幫忙打光拍照加一點分數和沒烤失敗，不然服務真是要扣到零分。一直想說要刪五星評價還是改評價，我真的無法打五顆星。先說說我覺得我無法接受的地方，肉烤到第二盤，桌上還有肉品，就開始換炭火，一塊一塊丟攪那種，就滿粗魯的，炭灰噴散，在燈光下是滿壯觀的，但我很傻眼，我也不知道有沒有飛到肉品小菜上，我不懂為何這不能一開始就先處理準備好，炭火在客人來之前要準備好不是基本的嗎？才開烤二十分耶！又不是已經烤一段時間了;最後收炭火也是桌上還是有食物，用鍋盆瓢+挖炭火，一樣，煙霧瀰漫，更勝一開始，到底是在急什麼...。沒有細節，這是其一。再來我們點了兩份黃金盛合(一份200g)，總共五個肉品，沒有重複照理說是加分，但，其中一份只兩個肉品，還有一個佔了五成以上，美其名是壺漬和牛，其實就是邊肉，當下傻眼，老實說我滿失望的，這價位的燒肉店，邊肉都是便宜打包賣出，也會明說這就是邊肉，邊肉的口感品質有差，我在別家也會點，但出現在極上黃金盛合，拿來濫竽充數實在不太能接受??極上兩個字大概是寫好玩的，到底是料理長推薦的肉，還是料理長塘塞的肉。退一步來說好了，太莫名了，所以我回來翻了一下菜單，還真的有標價，那盤腿三角(即便有100g好不好🙄)1080+壺漬和牛(100g)680=黃金盛合收2380? 這很不老實耶！這..到底當客人是盤子還是算數不好？盛合一般就是希望不需要個別單點，可以一次吃到多種肉品且會有高低價的肉品混合，第一盤倒還算正常，但第二盤以邊肉當主角的盛合到底發生了什麼事，我想吃邊肉我會自己點好嗎？而且是很邊的邊肉。沒有堅持，這是其二。然後我在當天中午有通知我們要更改人數，所以有打過電話，下午看到一通未接和一封簡訊，說"因與您聯絡未果，無法確定幫您保留訂位"，???我們中午才通過電話耶，然後一個沒接到電話就要取消訂位？？反正讓人感官很差，包含炭火事件。沒有服務，這是其三。題外話，有先告知有壽星，但老實說，硬要先看證件+GOOGLE評論才能上優惠肉品或清酒，一般不是應該最後才看嗎？我是覺得不被信任且很尷尬，驚喜都不驚喜了，上的方式也滿隨便的，就是一盤烤過的豬菲力，雖然滿好吃的，確實只是這樣給壽星知道也沒關係啦，只是期待有些花樣有些特色，又不是只是想加肉🙄。如果不是硬要我評價，我也不會打這篇了，但這只是題外話，就不列入評價中。只是如果慶生可能要注意一下。總之，肉品除了其中一品斷筋沒斷乾淨外加我嫌棄到不行的壺漬和牛，套餐裡豬雞花枝和菜倒是還不錯，抽煙設計還不錯，身上也沒什麼味道，但以主打高品質的店家，我也許期待過高了，而且服務的細節真的需再注意，很多。慕名而來，失望而歸。

BBQ Restaurant: Absolutely TERRIBLE (非常爛!!!) - one of the worst, biggest rip-off meals I ever had in Taiwan. It was very overpriced (1,500 - 2,000 NT per person WITHOUT counting alcohol) and very small quantity, with below average taste. If you order below a certain amount per person, they won't even bother to help cooking, so the above price is basically for a self-serve meal. There are so many better choices in the city - AVOID this...

Came on a Friday 8am no wait. This place is not crowded with tourists yet so it was a great find. The service is impeccable. They do not have an English menu but the menu has photos and staff who do speak English which helped a lot when ordering. The wagyu is melt in your mouth ! When washed down with nice cold sake it was heavenly. They close at 1am on Friday’s so there was much time to get your drink on! ...
