Spanish Dinner to Celebrate Friend’s Birthday!
FOOD: Travel to Spain through many yummy dishes. All the appetizers were extremely delicious. We also ordered a side of Ibérico Ham (This is definitely a must). My friend did not like the “egg” appetizer because it had a flavour she disliked (but this is too personal), I did like it for example. Regarding to the main course: she had the pork which was so tender, soft and a lot of flavor (awesome). However, I was a little bit disappointed with my lamb, given that it was a little bit tasteless (the beets and the sauce were so deliciously tasty though - this might have been the reason) Desserts: My friend, who is a local Taiwanese, didn’t like it because it was too sweet for her. However, I love the strawberry donut. The cheesecake nothing special though. All the dishes with a unique and beautiful design and preparation. For sure, all the portions were served double.
MENU: It’s tiny with a few option which makes tied with no much choices. However, this way the Chef can focus on those dishes better. Then we just can pick: Lamb, Pork or Beef. Menu had English Version, but no pictures.
SERVICE: All of them kind, explain all the dishes, the ingredients, the menu, the wine menu. However, in the end, they messed up calculating the bill wrongly with a double mistake: first after checking the price and proving my card, the slip came with a higher price than what was shown in the bill and the second was they forgot to deduct the 2,000NTD which was paid before for reservation fee. Read moreDisappointing food with good service (but the sommelier was awful) I went here for lunch expecting a lovely meal but I was terribly disappointed. The food was served cold and even though the plating was modern the food itself was not delicious. There is a serious lack of refinement in the flavor combinations and the paella was disgusting (greasy rice with vegetables without a hint of saffron). But the worst part of the experience was the wine service. First we were served a glass of cava that had no bubbles (obviously the bottle had been opened for a while), and when I asked the sommelier to replace it he acted offended and said it was because of the shape of glass without even bothering to taste it, we insisted we wanted a new one so he finally opened another bottle. After that he was unfriendly and decided he didn’t have to explain any of the wines, also sent the waiter to serve them. For a wine pairing menu, this is absolutely unacceptable. The only positive part of the experience were the servers who were kind and attentive. There is simply no excuse for cold food and bad wine service in a restaurant at this price range. 感謝貴公司邀請二訪,這次來是享用晚宴,所有的前菜都令我驚艷,服務也非常的用心,這次為我們服務的是carol,有記得我們第一次用餐的細節,也會在我們上菜的空隙與客人有互動,非常的親切,餐點上也解釋的非常簡潔明了,(只是先生總是不在狀態,別人介紹時他總是在神遊😂)服務的部分給滿星哦 環境的部分這次坐的是小包廂,很安靜,氣氛非常好~ 和上次一樣還是覺得容器的部分怎麼這麼可愛!!!超級加分!
那麼來說一下餐點的部分, ●第一個開胃小點是重組的小番茄 入口番茄口味濃郁 ●1.2.3,游西班牙🇪🇸 第一次覺得有點太油膩,所以這次非常貼心的幫我們把其中一個換成了鬆露球,這個部分被我先生吃掉了🤣只記得中間的花枝球加上上面的好像是柑橘醬讓原本油膩的炸物變得沒那麼油膩。再來是游西班牙,綠橄欖搭配鳀魚,綠橄欖是用分子料理手法重組過的吃起來軟嫩有層次感十分的開胃。 ●鮪魚腹肉塔塔 鮪魚和海膽的部分真的非常的鮮甜,搭配上南杏。入口即化。唯一缺點是南杏的味道不夠突出。 ●茶碗蒸 這個對我來說很有層次感,先生覺得差點意思。剛入口是蒸蛋的軟嫩與微微的火腿香氣,在咀嚼過程中口味出現火腿丁的香味和薄荷的清香,很有趣的搭配 ●海虎蝦與蒜味奶油 蝦熟度剛剛好,吃起來有海鮮的鮮甜與脆感,蒜味奶油味道不會很突兀,搭上蝦與蒜片更體現出蝦子的鮮甜。蝦很大只吃起來很滿足。 ●軟殼龍蝦與玉米醬 先生今天最愛的就是這一道,大部分在外面吃到的都是軟殼蟹比較少遇到軟殼龍蝦,龍蝦用了三種方式呈現,碳烤,酥炸,做成粉。全都是不一樣的口感,卻都保有龍蝦的鮮甜,酥炸與下面的蝦粉一起吃鮮甜加倍旁邊的玉米醬本身就已經有層次感,再搭配上碳烤龍蝦與旁邊酥炸的口感完全不同 ●黑鱈魚與百色番茄醬 鱈魚是低溫製作的非常嫩又香甜,搭配上醬汁更加體現出鱈魚的香甜,擺盤也是非常簡潔,看了非常舒適。 ●牛裡脊與松露馬鈴薯 牛肉熟度剛剛好,雖說沒有前菜驚艷,但是也是好吃的 ●脆皮烤豬 先生也很愛這一道,外皮酥脆,搭配上蘋果,將豬肉的本身的味道呈現的剛剛好,主餐部分很推這道。 ●草莓甜甜圈 這一道有些過於甜膩,沒吃到烏龍茶的味道,會建議多加一點點烏龍茶會比較有層次感,也比較不會這麼膩口。一個人吃一份有點吃力。 ●藍乳酪巴斯克 很喜歡這道甜點,在大部分人的印象中blue cheese 是味道重的,臭的,要麼大愛要麼討厭,是兩個極端,可是這個蛋糕卻可以做到巴斯克蛋糕的基礎中增添了恰到好處的藍乳酪的獨特香氣,口感也有流心。真的很喜歡,如果有單獨販售一定會來捧場 ●petit...
