My family loves Pizza Rock. Not only do we agree that its the best pizza in town, (especially the Canadian bacon and pineapple) but Pizza Rock also has incredible salads and delicious pasta dishes to choose from. They have several locations around town, so you're probably never too far away from a Pizza Rock in Taichung. The restaurants have a nice atmosphere and are comfortable for dining, but I also love that they deliver. For Pizza Rock delivery on weeknights, contact them at least one hour ahead. On the weekends, I suggest calling in your order a few hours in advance and just requesting a later delivery time, because once the delivery schedule is filed up for the night, they will stop taking orders. There is a minimum delivery amount of 800NT, but since Pizza Rock has a lot of great side dishes and drinks to choose from, you'll be able to fill in the gaps pretty easily. And one more thought--if you add a salad to your delivery order, remember to request the salad dressing on the side, to avoid a box of wilted lettuce arriving at your door. :) Overall, I'm just super thankful to have such great pizza available here...

The four cheese was very oily, meaning that the cheese quality is not great. Had trouble to finish it. The margarita was better, thanks to the sugary tomato sauce helping the rest. It isn't fair to Italian culture to call this an Italian pizza, unless you've never been out of North America. Try Zocca in Taipei, or Uncle Pete in Taidong, for something proper. The atmosphere is good, the staff helpful, and the kitchen closes late. The selection of drinks is...
Read moreI have always loved Pizza Rock pizzas. But it’s the baked pastas that are letting them down. It’s not that they don’t taste good. I really like them. It’s that they take 30mins to make. Tonight, we had a salad, two pizzas, and pasta (for my two year old daughter). Salad and pizza rolled out in 10 minutes. Then we had to wait an extra 20 mins for a pasta, that is literally pizza sauce, penna, and meat/veg. And to make things worse, the broccoli wasn’t even cooked through.
I will continue to eat at pizza rock, but they seriously need to rethink the way that they prepare...
