茶六燒肉堂 公益店 — Restaurant in Taichung

Absolutely out of words to describe this shop’s service ...... pure fantastic. Two situations that should win a Michelin star for services for me was: First I dropped my chopstick and in a few seconds a waiter comes in the room and tell me here is your new pair or chopstick. (WTF didn’t even need to ask it seems as she was reading my mind) This is shocking amazing for me. Second event was I have a toddler with me and usually he makes a mess but I always clean the mess up until it’s tidy even if the waiter says “it’s okay just leave it we will clean it for you” but I guess that’s what all service provider would say but don’t really mean it. Except this restaurant the waiter ran out the room and came back with a broom to help clean up the mess!!!! This is an action that speaks louder than words. Been to many five star hotel restaurant but none would act according to their words immediately like here. I’d tip her but it’s not a custom here in taiwan they only accept service charge. This is just an impeccably dining...

The place is wonderful. Atmosphere was top notch. Service was really thoughtful, they helped us cook our meat and vegetables and despite us not speaking good Chinese, they tried hard to speak to us through Google translate and explained what we needed to know.

If you don't want to eat too much, I recommend order ala carte. We went out with 80-90% full, spent 800 per pax.

If you want to eat a lot then you can consider getting their set.

They cleaned the table fast and changed our plates. They also changed the grilling metal often to ensure no charred particles stick to your food.

They served us peach vinegar slushee to cleanse our palate afterwards.

Very mediocre, doesn't live up the price and hype. There's definitely better yakiniku else where. Slow service and very small portions. Probably wouldn't come back again, but I will say the ambience is good.

Service: We waited 1hour for our veggies to arrive , by the time it has arrived we have already finished the rest of the dishes. Our grill has already blacked but nobody came to change it. Then we waited an additional 30 minutes for the desserts to arrive.

Food: The meat is really thin, so don't expect a filling meal. On the otherside the meat quality does lives up to the standard. Nice plating too. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the meat slices...
