Honestly, there is always something suspicious about a place with only 5 stars review. Often businesses give out free side dishes or other perks in return for a 5 star rating to artificially inflate the score. This shouldn't be allowed but it's growing more and more common. However, I am ever the optimist, so I wanted to give the place a fair try. I wish I hadn't.

It tastes nothing like any authentic Indian curry I've ever had. The chicken was overcooked, chewy, rubbery and full of bones. There was even still hair on the chicken meat. You had to be careful not to cut the roof of your mouth on a sharp chicken bone. As for the curry sauce flavouring. Pretty awful. I'm going to be frank: this is a place that has clearly sold out it's authenticity to accommodate the Taiwanese pallet. It tastes like a Taiwanese version of Indian curry. The Naan bread is like eating pizza dough. Its equally as bad as the curry. The rice? You guessed it.. they use Taiwanese run of the mill rice.

If the chefs dared to serve this back in their homeland they'd probably have their passports revoked for causing national...

My experience with this restaurant was much better than those that I have had with so-called Indian restaurants in Taipei or other locations. The amount of spice was what I would expect, particularly for a local palate. Although it was not an inexpensive meal, the quantity was what I was expecting for what I paid. I thoroughly enjoyed the samosas, and was also pleasantly surprised by the curry that I ordered. The only complaint that I would have is that there was no cutlery provided, and I was fortunate enough to have a fork and spoon in my suitcase so that I was able to eat the meal a dignified matter. Writing this review makes me even more hungry at the thought of eating food from this restaurant again. I wish there was such a restaurant close to where I live, since I very much crave this kind of exquisite cuisine more often.

It should be noted that I ordered this through Uber eats, which would increase the price and also make the environment or the vibe of the restaurant very difficult to assess. However, my expectations for the food were met and I'm happy to have had this...
