The Factory Mojocoffee — Restaurant in Taichung

WARNING: KIDS UNFRIENDLY. Kids under 12 are not allowed inside the cafe. Reason: we use glasswares and serve hot drinks which are dangerous for kids. My reply: we visit cafe often with my kids. Felt so discriminated. First time having to be rejected this way. I can understand if it is a hotel club lounge or fine dining place. But a cafe? Which cafe don’t use glasswares and serve hot drink?! Seriously? Had to post this to warn other parents about this policy. Probably should hang a sign right outside the stop as well as putting up right smack on socials. It was indeed bad taste after braving through the summer heat to come all the way here with 2 young toddlers only be be rejected like this. They did offered a seat outside. A good place to bring a group.

Their coffee is high quality but noticeably more expensive then some of the other cafés in the area. The variety of options is definitely impressive and their staff does well to prepare everything well.

They have a significantly larger amount of seating than other cafés in the area which puts them on the position to reliably cater to larger groups than some of the smaller more affordable cafés.

There also cater well to the speciality coffee community by offering tasting samples and high level equipment for home brewing.

Overall, they are strong in a few areas and it would be good to take advantage of those when you're going somewhere with a group but if you're looking for a weekly study or work spot, there are...

Came here because they are one of the very few cafés I found in Taichung that serves oatside milk, thank the lord 💆‍♀️🙌!!! Super love chilling and sipping my iced oat latte here, what with the insane scorching hot weather outside 🥵🔥☀️!

Seems to be a specialty coffee place, the staff knows their beans well! They were also giving out free samples of some hand brewed coffee they prepared, it was so nice, tastes like a cupp of nourishing tea 😁☕️.

Loved the architectural design of this café as well, there’s a small store inside selling crystals of sorts, as well as some antiquated CDs on their shelves, so interesting! There are indoor and outdoor seats available. Saw great things about their food and pancakes, worth a try...
