奉茶．台南總店 — Restaurant in Tainan

Found this place via Google because I really wanted individual hot pot. For about 320-380, you can get an individual hot pot that comes with rice, protein (pork, beef, or seafood), veggies, and sauce. Oh and free tea of your choice along with green bean dessert. The tea, like most Taiwanese tea shops, are very good. We got Oolong and Green tea with boba. There were many different broth options. We got the tomatoe and original-both were very good and tasteful and "clear" in that they did not taste like MSG. They also have many different entrees besides hot pot. There's also a vegetarian section. Highly recommend! We were both very full and surprised when they brought out the green bean dessert. The background music was great too-they had The Sound of Silence in instrumental form. The restaurant has been around since 1989 and the decor has a vintagey Chinese teahouse feel to it. We chose to sit on cushiony mats in the floor area but there are tables and chairs. Only thing is wish the menu is in Chinese. Wish they had this in the States with those...
