惹奶油 The butter — Restaurant in Tainan

This is a relatively new bakery / cafe. The owner can speak english as well and the service is exceptionally good and the environment inside looks nice because the owner has a background in interior design. Unfortunately I was getting bitten by mosquitoes and I could not really enjoy my meal. I kept wondering why I was itching everywhere and then I realized what was happening when I saw the mosquito. I don’t usually have this issue when I visit other cafes in Tainan. The other reason why I cannot give this place more stars is because the bathrooms are very unsanitary looking. I was quite shocked that the cafe was nice looking inside but the bathroom / restroom that is outside was so dirty looking. I am not sure what the reasoning is behind this but it is more shocking when you can see such a big difference. Even if you don’t renovate the old bathroom / restroom you could still make it look cleaner. There were some plants for decoration but the plants cannot replace how dirty it looks. I would strongly suggest to the owner to think about what they can do to improve the bathroom situation and the mosquito situation because there are many other bakery’s and cafes in Tainan to go to that don’t have these issues. I would love to give this place one more star and even five stars but it really needs to make some improvements and the for the cost of the meal I ordered I expected a little more as it is relatively expensive for Tainan. I ordered a vegetarian omelette that came with some plain thin white toast and a discounted coffee but it still cost a total of 370 NTD. It does not feel like it’s worth the high price point to me when compared to other cafes and meals I have gotten or can...

This is a really special place that was converted from an olden-style house and kept the vintage exterior design. The inside is very clean with a nice atmosphere. I was there during the dead hours in the middle of the afternoon so it was nice and quiet. The waiting staff were extremely nice and always checked up on if we needed anything. All the foods are made really well with very nice presentation. It's a bit pricier but the food is really good. They have a pasta dish that looks like a risotto because the pasta was made very small and looked like rice. It was very good so I highly recommend ordering that. We often buy our lunch from this restaurant as the meals are delicious and healthy.

At first, I ordered the beef meal. I liked it. The vegetables were very tasty, actually even tastier than the meat. I wish the beef was a bit saltier. Overall, it was a good and healthy meal.

The 2nd time, I tried the chicken meal. It was outstanding. I love it! 🥰 It was dashed with different spices and the resulting flavor was very tasty and interesting. Will definitely order again.
