Before I entered the restaurant, I was thinking "it's just rice with an egg on top, nothing special." But somehow I just felt like I have to try it.

When I left the restaurant, I was stopping myself to order 3 more bowls of these because it's just my first meal of my day-trip to Tainan and I needed to try something else.

When I left Taiwan, I concluded that this is the best food I've had in the trip, even against all the goodies in night markets.

I guess I don't have to spend words on describing the food itself, right? If you think it's too salty, you didn't follow the (simple) instructions.

Order: Go to counter and get the order form. Pay at cashier and they issue you a ticket number. Pay attention to the server who will shout out the number.

Food: The pork lard rice is the star. Remember to mix well before you eat otherwise too salty at the base of the rice. *you must add egg (recommend half cook/sunny side up).

One of the restaurants in Tainan that is highly recommended by my friend from Taiwan.

Went there but the queue was quite long, took us about 30mins to get a seat there.

Ordering was pretty easy, but it still takes another 10-15mins for the food to arrive.

The pork minced rice is good but the skewer is just normal. So you can skip the skewer and save your tummy for other food
