Upon arrival, we were treated to a full-on coffee bean tour – it's like a wine tasting but for coffee. You get to smell the beans before they work their magic in the brew. A sensory delight! 👃🌱

I dove into their signature drink – the Jerky Cafe Latte. Imagine this: a fusion of latte and Taiwanese pork jerky. Sweet, but kind of like a flavor thief, sneaking the spotlight from the latte. 🥓☕ My friend opted for a pour-over coffee with Ethiopian beans, a solo journey of aroma and taste. Personally, I find pour-overs a bit like twins – similar in many ways, and a tad too acidic for my liking. 🍋🤷‍♂️

Now, let's talk ambiance. This place is an Instagrammer's dream. Two floors of Japanese garden-style decor that scream 'photo op!' 📷🌸 It's like stepping into a serene, Zen-like coffee haven.

Think I'll revisit when it's not my caffeine free Mon. After all, this is a cafe opened by a world champ barista. Still... wanna ask you, have u ever been stricken by grape fruit on your taste buds? No, I mean with a tinge of green tea, and nostril by a spring of lily. The body of the drink is as elegant as its appearance. The first sip stroke me with the gastronomic stereotype that everything in Tainan is over enhanced by that sugar sweet, but then it came the wrestling mid and after taste of that tastible lily white and that tea bitter. Sweet bitter instead of bitter sweet tho. That still quite Tainan. The whole Japanese style interior and the attention to details found everywhere, like the granular granite tables, invite the perfectionists and explorers alike, from the visual to vibe. I'm heavily armed with that look of and for a place to task my granular works, creatively armed, that is, but I was totally disarmed by the Tainanite undoing and comfortable professionalism. Interesting to have beef jerky on latte. It kinda made sense actually. The basque cheesecake was good just too much crème fraiche.
