Absolutely loved our dining experience at 手工殿 (Shou Gong Dian) Steamboat Restaurant at ATT Valley, Taipei!

The ambiance is warm, spacious, and cozy — a perfect setting to enjoy a hearty steamboat meal. The restaurant offers four types of signature soup bases, and we went with the 酸菜湯 (Pickled Vegetable Broth) and 柴魚湯 (Bonito Broth). Both were absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The broths paired beautifully with every ingredient we ordered, enhancing the overall taste of the meal.

The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The meats were fresh, tender, and well-marbled, while the vegetables were crisp and vibrant.

A special mention goes to the service, which was outstanding. Our server, 怡朵花, was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her proactive and thoughtful service added a personal touch that truly elevated our experience.

Another lovely touch — the restroom is well-maintained and thoughtfully stocked with wet tissues, toothpicks with floss, and even mouth gargle for guests to freshen up after their meal. It’s these small, considerate details that really complete the dining experience.

I genuinely doubt the current 4.9-star rating is accurate. I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this restaurant was truly disappointing. The atmosphere was loud and unpleasant, making it difficult to enjoy the meal.

The food was clearly frozen and lacked freshness. For the high prices charged, the quality of ingredients was extremely poor. We dined with just three adults and two toddlers (under 3 years old), yet the bill came up to TWD 3,399 — completely unjustified for what we received.

台北火鍋店手工殿的美好體驗

上月我們一行十四位香港人來台北參加排球比賽, 想著賽後一起火鍋聚餐, 事前已經苦惱選餐廳的問題, 因為我們想坐在一起進餐,而找網上評論較高分的火鍋店說也要分桌, 結果我們找了手工殿的ig 與店員聯絡, 對方非常殷切地為我們解決桌子問題, 而且還說 “有需要什麼旅遊推薦也可以跟我說唷”,令我們感到相當窩心, 而且看到ig , youtube 的餐廳介紹, 已令我們滿滿的期待

而事實證明, 我們所有人在晚餐後覺得選擇了這家火鍋店，真是一個明智的決定！從一進門，已經覺得餐廳不像一般的火鍋店吵吵鬧鬧非常擾攘的感覺, 而是感到置身於一間高級的餐廳的氛圍, 裝潢亦華麗, 令到我們心情更加愉悅, 當晚是店員小春子招待我們, 他細心地向我們介紹每一種火鍋湯底及食材, 他的熱情招待讓我們感到賓至如歸的感覺

火鍋的食材非常新鮮，而且每一樣食材的擺放都精心安排，我們點了兩個海鮮拼盤, 拿出來了起了密密的冰煙,像藝術品一樣, 令我們自動拿起手機打卡拍照, 。另外牛肉入口即化，胸口油爽而不膩, 手工餃, 鴨血, 豬肉, 紅蝦都非常出色,讓我們都忍不住讚嘆。老闆非常好客, 知道我們大夥兒從外地而來, 特別送了我們高級美味的牛肉, 真是十分驚喜
