Go elsewhere, this place isn't worth your time or money. This place looks like it's been here for a while, and it's possible that it used to be decent. This is no longer the case. Not only is the food bad, but the service is horrible as well.

I ordered an eel set which I thought was standard Japanese fare. Turns out that wasn't the case for this place. The eel set included a huge piece of chicken, which wasn't mentioned anywhere in the menu. But this was nothing compared to the eel itself. The eel was so tough that it was completely inedible. When we brought this up to the waiter, he claimed that it couldn't be possible, because the chef himself had killed the fish that day. Now I've been to quite a few Japanese restaurants, including in Japan, and I've never had fish that was so tough and unedible. If they had just replaced the piece of eel, it would have been an uneventful dinner. Instead, the arrogant waiter completely ruined the meal.

Anyways, totally not worth your time, especially with all the other great food...

Service was terrible - forgot our soup and grilled shrimp we ordered. When we asked about it 30 minutes after finishing the rest of our food, they said it was still cooking. Who cooks shrimp for 30 minutes? The crazy part is I saw other shrimp go out AFTER I asked and they still didn't deliver to us. They finally gave us the shrimp about 10 minutes after I asked. Then they tried to sneak in the soup at the end of the meal. Who does that? I had had it and asked for the manager and they claimed the manager was not there. They tried to make up for it by giving us some watermelon and dessert soup but I just wanted to leave as I had been sitting there for some time. When we left I saw a car parked out front with the restaurant's logo sticker on the back A maybe the manager's car? All in all, we paid NT2300 after they deducted the service charge and removed the soup. Ripoff. I had top quality sushi and service at AAD for...

This is a very nice and traditional TW-Japs type restaurant! The boss and his son select the great food material from Market! I don’t like to eat row fish, but this is a very fresh fish, that is why I took it! I know, they might short with service when they are crowded during noon and week days! But that is not a problem for me to visit...
