TA COFFEE (自家烘豆) — Restaurant in Taipei

Very disappointed by today’s experience. For one I wanted to eat something from outside because they do not offer much in the way of food on their menu and they told me I could not eat while drinking my coffee inside. They said I could eat outside but somebody was smoking outside. Then my coffee was not prepared correctly, It tasted watered down and it was not hot. It was prepared exceedingly quickly so I presume they already had the coffee made and poured it into a cold cup. I wasn’t aware of the food rule as Wilbeck nearby doesn’t have this issue, they could’ve just allowed me just this once to eat and maybe when I came back another time I would be aware of the rule and not repeat, but no. I was a fairly regular customer so I thought for sure they could allow me an exception just once. I once came here to drink coffee and they told me there was no individual seating because they only had pair seating available even though several pair seats were unoccupied. I’m not coming back here again. When a customer complains about a coffee you offer to make it again or make it right, that didn’t happen. And you don’t treat a repeat customer like this. There are plenty of great coffee shops to go to in this area I will not be returning...

Honestly I had a pretty bad first impression about TA coffee shop the very first time I went around five months ago. I ordered an American coffee and requested to add milk. The lady responded and said “that’d become a latte...” Seriously!? And you are working at a cafe?? I’m more than happy to pay extra for milk if that’s required since their coffee is extremely affordable compare with what I’m getting (pretty good with a lovely, crisp flavor) though I’m not a big fan of their customer service and staff apparently is quite ignorant about coffee.
