Absolutely loved my experience at this location of Sushiro! Heard wonderful things about Sushiro, so I decided to give a try with my mother during our last few days in Taiwan. We went around 6:30PM on a Monday night, there was no line to sit down so we simply went to the machine to grab a seat number and immediately sat down. Although there was no line to sit down, the entire restaurant was pretty much full. However, if there was a line to eat I think there was more than enough sitting arrangements in the main lobby for folks to chat and use the restroom if needed to wait for a seat. Once you get a table, you order things through a tablet and you can grab whatever you please from the conveyor belt. The salmon sashimi and cod roe + mayo gunkan was really good. I loved them a lot, and would have ordered more if I did not want to try more items. Their udon, dessert, and other rolls were tried were also very good. I would say my mom and I ate very generously, not really looking at the price of things when we took items off of the belt (lol this sounds TERRIBLE). At the end of our meal, our grand total was $690 NTD. That’s insanely cheap. If I had ordered the same amount of food in an American conveyer belt sushi establishment, it would have easily been $50+ USD ($1,500+ NTD). There was also unlimited hot water and matcha powder for those who were interested. I will most definitely be returning to Sushiro when I’m in Taiwan or Japan in the future. I’ll be missing this...
Read moreSushiro impresses with its wallet-friendly offerings and diverse selection, catering to the discerning sushi lover who seeks value without compromising taste. With close proximity to the bustling Xinyi area, this conveyor belt sushi chain remains a popular destination for a quick and satisfying meal. The salmon sushi, steamed egg, and udon noodles are standout dishes that showcase Sushiro's commitment to quality and flavor, making it a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts.
However, the restaurant falls short in some aspects, which can dampen the overall dining experience. The frequent shortage of dry tissue and the unavailability of popular items, such as wagyu ball sushi, are notable points of inconvenience for regular patrons. Additionally, the menu can at times feel uninspired, leaving diners craving more creative and unique sushi offerings to satiate their appetites.
Though Sushiro's online queue system aims to make the wait for a table more manageable, it remains a work in progress as diners still face lengthy wait times upon arrival. Addressing these shortcomings would undoubtedly elevate the overall experience and solidify Sushiro's reputation as the go-to destination for high-quality, budget-friendly sushi in...
Read moreSushiro has always been my top priority for sushi because they always make the most authentic, freshest, and most delicious ones compared to any other conveyor belts chains.
Having been eating their sushi for about a year, I find Broiled Salmon Mentai ($40) the best one. Not only do I have preference for salmon but also the cheese and Mentaiko sauce go so delicious with the broiled salmon. Besides, Fatty Tuna and Fresh Salmon are my favourite sushi that costs $60. I also tried a new sushi this time and it’s called Charcoal Grill Bonito ($40). It is seasoned with mashed ginger and spring onion on the top and tastes a little spicy and quite delicious. Speaking of the dessert, Nagasaki Specialty Milkshake ($60) is definitely the most delicious one. The flowing creamy and sweet ice crisps always hit different.
To top it all off, I’ve been to a few different branches of Sushiro and none of them have ever been bad. The service, food, atmosphere and prices are always decent. This branch is only like a 3 minute walk away from MRT Yongchun station exit 1. Overall, it’s a...
