Used to love this place but now it’s such a sad disappointment. This place cannot go out of business fast enough. Owners got the bright idea to get rid their best tasting menu items, the sandwiches, and move it to their Taipei dome location. Not to mention, they’ve completely changed the portion and sizes and flavors for the worse. Ordered the 8oz 麻辣 and flavor-wise is probably on par with the chicken sandwiches you get at family mart. Also see how it’s completely different from their marketing picture and the chicken itself is only slightly bigger than the sauce cup they give. I swear it was no bigger than a chik fila sandwich. The old sandwiches like the green dragon sando, which was fire, used to be twice as big and for the same price they would give you fries. How about you allocate some of that money to creating a better product instead of having youtubers like joeman advertise for you? Look at what their old sandwiches used...

As a self-proclaimed fried chicken connoisseur, I was excited to try this Taiwanese take on American fried chicken. Their menu includes tenders, fried chicken (their specialty), chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides, and alcoholic drinks. I ordered their signature fried chicken with Taiwanese chili oil on the side.

The chicken was freshly made and served quickly. It was crispy, but the breading was too thin, crumbling easily, and while juicy, it was oilier than I’d prefer. The meat lacked depth of flavor, almost as if it hadn’t been brined. While the store had a cute vibe, the overall experience felt very average, and the slightly higher price doesn’t justify a return...

Weekend Chicken is a must-visit if you’re in Taiwan and craving top-tier fried chicken. I tried their chicken burger, crispy chicken, and fries, and everything was on point. The chicken burger was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the crispy chicken had that perfect crunch with tender, flavorful meat inside. The fries were just the right balance of crispy and soft, making them the perfect sidekick to the chicken. Overall, it’s an addictive combo that’ll have you coming...
