Place has a great ambience and wide menu. The Thai danping was delicious and the breakfast menu too. My fussy picky eater kid slurped up the entire plate herself. Testament 👍. The mushroom soup with the pastry is great too. This place allows a lot of food customization and uses the phone to make online order before paying at the counter. Read moreWe came here on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. I ordered a breakfast combo and my wife ordered egg roll (Takoyaki style/flavour). The nuggets and harshbrowns were hot off the fryer and it was delicious. Their home made taro balls were amazing! That is a must try.
However the chicken and egg portions were a bit sad (see my photos below) and they forgot (as did I) my salad...

我30歲了,我從18歲搬家過來就開始吃,算是從小吃到大,陪伴我長大成人的一家店吧。從傳統早餐店,進化成加盟早餐店,再到現在的網美早餐店,我都有參與到。
學生時代到上班族,我幾乎天天吃,會把電話存到手機聯絡人,早上起床眼睛還沒睜開,就打電話去訂餐,然後拎著早餐去趕公車上學。
對這家早餐店的記憶就是很有人情味,老闆娘是個很阿薩力,很熱情,很接地氣的人☺️(有一次出門上學錢包沒帶,闆娘直接說,沒差啦,下次給我就好)
那時候店裡的阿嬤也常常會出現,坐在門口幫忙,而小老闆娘那時候年紀很小,會在店裡晃來晃去,偶爾也會幫忙。整體雖稱不上厲害水準的早餐,但我就是很喜歡,朋友假日來找我,我也帶他吃這家。
某一天,這裏突然變成網美店,由小老闆娘做主,我覺得餐點很ok,但一切變了,小老闆娘很冰冷,整個團隊也是有禮貌但冰冷,斤斤計算所有成本,從走進去那刻被帶位,就讓人很有壓力,一定要先坐在邊邊角角,就算那時候是離峰時段,店裡明明沒什麼人。或是各種一大堆規定,讓人深怕一進去就不小心做錯事,吃個早餐,很緊張餒~~然後看了評論,真的一邊嘆息,所有時間成本、翻桌成本、甚至水的成本(?),店家一定要做到效率極限的應用。以店家立場沒有錯,但真的少了好多人情味😭
店家從傳統早餐店、加盟、到現在有了名氣,整體硬體設施變好是我們有目共睹,我也替店家高興。因為這是我從小吃到大的店,我看到他進步了,老闆娘辛苦那麼久,也值得了。
但是呢,為什麼從簡陋的環境到現在漂亮的環境,我卻不太想去了,我們老鄰居想吃的,是一個舒服自在的人情味。又或者,能夠好好坐下吃早餐、午餐,是希望可以舒服放鬆的,而不是緊張的,或是看小老闆娘板著臉的。
店家一路以來的成長很值得鼓勵,但更希望的是,以前老闆娘的人情味跟阿薩力隨和的感覺,是可以帶給年輕團隊的,而不是每次進去看到小老闆娘當家都覺得壓力好大,然後看評論就看到你們一直戰客人,有意義嗎?真的每個客人都是奧客,都值得訓斥?還是其實是你一點都不願意接受批評指教?
各種形式上的極致斤斤計較可以為你現在帶來獲利,但你店如果要做得長久,真的留得住客人嗎?
