We had a tea break here.
For the drinks, we ordered a passionfruit-mango smoothie and geisha pourover coffee. The drinks were good. They used real frozen fruits for the smoothies and had no articial sugar taste. The coffee tasted smooth when it was hot, but the aroma was not there. When the coffee turned cold, it had a bitter aftertaste.
For food, we ordered a pain au chocolat and a kouign-amann. Both of them were definitely NOT fresh, and they were really really really dry. The chocolate for the pain au chocolat given were so little like 20% were the chocolate and the rest were dough. Kouign-amann was dry as well, but its flavours were better.
For this price range, unless they do some quality control and improve, I don't recommend this cafe at all. There are definitely better ones out there that are more worthy of your patronage, with more aromatic coffee and tastier pastries at a more...
Read more76/100 (dalgona piccolo+churros=400) Cool looking building both outside and inside, it’s a 2nd premium branch from CAMA, your friendly neighbor coffee shop, I understand they want to make this place a more high end TA, but it’s quite difficult for me to see the leap, the price here is seriously high standard small latte is $160 plus a signature dalgona (small piece of red sugar) which is a small piece of crumble then it become $180, the ambience is also very repetitive, ( the artificial frying bean sound) and loud, so it’s not as chill and I would expect, and since it’s quite a big space, with very minimum acoustic treatment, it’s actually quite boomy, don’t get be wrong, I don’t hate this place, but on the other hand I do wish they can grow even better and...
Read moreNice place to hang out with family and friends. Needed to wait in line to dine in, but not too busy during the CNY holidays. The creamy beer, triple hobbies has interesting flavors. The good kind of interesting. I’m not a fan of beer but I liked it. The beef cheek & focaccia is tasty, the sauce is a bit sweet, and the beef is big. However it’s a bit overpriced if we talk about the portion. Same comments for the chicken soup. My kid and I liked the flavor, but there was only one chicken wing, an abalone and a mushroom in il the soup. I would like one more piece of chicken…The creamy chicken pasta is a surprise. Recommended. Overall, it costs NT $500 per person for a proper meal. Friendly staff and...
