Guang Yi In Time — Restaurant in Xinyi District

I think the food isn’t half bad but like many have complained, they really need to work on service. Despite belonging to the same group as GonnaEat, they have different rules regarding minimum orders, and I think the staff can do a much better job at explaining it than just snobbishly reply they are not the same brand as GonnaEat.

Furthermore, I do not understand why they charge service fee when they essentially provide the same service as GonnaEat, and the food is evidently more greasy and of smaller portion.

Pleasant, well appointed little place situated inside the Songshan culture park.

The food I thought was overpriced considering the portion size and the rather ordinary taste.

Ordering for English speakers is best done via the staff, whom I thought were attentive and patient. A QR code is provided but the online menu is only in Chinese and Safari’s translation is not particularly helpful (‘butter pear’ is avocado, as an example)

Guang Yi In Time, conveniently located near the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, provided a delightful lunch experience with its elegant and fresh dishes. While prices were slightly above average, the high quality of ingredients and excellent service justified the cost.
