I recommend passing on this place. I wanted to like the fusion cuisine, but it just didn't fuse well. I got the beef bagel sandwich, and my BF got the duck bagel sandwich. We also got the fried bagels sticks with garlic cream. The beef on my bagel was fantastically flavorful. The fried bagel sticks were good, but the garlic cream was too understated (not nearly enough garlic flavor). My BF's duck was tough and not very flavorful. I was very surprised you couldn't choose a bagel flavor for your sandwich since they come on a plain bagel, and plain bagels are not good bagels. I was even more surprised that when I bit into my bagel sandwich, it was untoasted and not heated up at all. Given all the effort put into the meat, the bagel, and the sandwich, I was super underwhelmed. I wanted to like it, but it's just another overpriced hipster place with more style than substance. The fact they have a per person minimum spend amount didn't feel right to me, and I should have listened to my instincts when I saw the minimum. 1️⃣ Tomato Soup [7/10] tasted really fresh and had a lot of vegetables but nothing special 2️⃣ Chicken Bagel [4/10] it was a recommended item. the bagel was not toasted beforehand, the slaw was tasteless and did not contribute to the dish, chicken was slightly sweet but tasteless otherwise. i don’t think they used much salt. the best thing on the plate was the chips, i was hoping to be able to spot a bag on my way out so i can purchase it but didn’t manage to 3️⃣ Brownie brownie itself tasted good with the marshmallow but the rice crispy was sadly lacking the anticipated crunch...
Read moreGreat place for Chinese-American brunch, especially if you have a strong yen for BAGELS!! Yes, by golly BAGELS!! Especially the chewy ones. Yes, I like my bagels on the chewier side. You should as well. Located in a historical military dependents' village where only the insides of the buildings were renovated. It's definitely rocking a bit of a retro vibe which seems to be the ongoing trend. The weekends are a great time to drop on by for some lovely brunch and to shop at the local arts craft market located right on the square. The quality of the food offered at this location has been consistently good. The drinks yummy.
Just make sure you make reservations if you plan on eating here over...
