A must visit nostalgic, retro style Japanese dessert shop located near Yilan train station. They offer lots of matcha related desserts from kakigori, dorayaki, cheesecake etc. Other flavored and seasonal desserts are available too!

🍨🍡: 抹茶 紫米粥 NT$170 (Matcha with Hot Purple Rice Porridge Set) A bowl of hot purple rice porridge topped with strong flavored matcha cream and ice cream! On these sides you have mochi, azuki and matcha jelly to be mixed in the bowl. One of the best matcha desserts I've eaten because of the uniqueness and flavor combination. Other matcha pairings available too 薏仁湯、紅豆湯 (barley soup and red bean soup)

My goodness - this kissaten is so good. The ambience is japanese retro with some good music to accompany the cafe experience.

Purin and ice coffee combo are so good and exactly like most japanese cafe will do, the coffee is especially strong which suits my indonesian taste buds who are used to strong filter coffee beans.

Be aware that only chinese menu available but google translate and staffs who speak excellent english will help you easily

Pudding is so fluffy and surprisingly not sweet. A must visit if you happen...

Minimum one menu item per person when dining in. No minimum for takeout. No bathroom for customers (have to use the 7-11’s bathroom around the corner).

Our party of 4 ordered the hojicha kakigori, salted caramel kakigori, warabi monaka + drink set, and pearl barley soup + matcha cream + matcha ice cream set, spent NT840 total/ $28 total. Compared to western cafe prices, this is cheap, but compared to local prices for treats, this is on the pricier side. Would come back if they remove the 1...
