It was like only one bus stop away from my university, so I came here to have lunch as a nigiri lover. The restaurant was almost full by the time I arrived at 12:00.
Albacore Tuna Yuzu Pepper had distinct citrus grapefruit taste and chewy texture.
I’d had Broiled Salmon Mentai for many times because the blend of cheese and the salmon went so well. Therefore, this time I tried Broiled Fresh Salmon with Mentai & Miso and it was even better and intertwined with a variety of tastes.
The Salted and Vinegared Mackerel was kinda sour and quite tasty.
Extra Fatty Tuna cost $80 which was expensive but it was the best tuna I had ever eaten. The tuna with fat always had better taste for me.
Kable Beef Salt was my favourite meat nigiri. I enjoyed the amazing texture of the beef and its juiciness with the rice.
I have been eating Japanese Egg Omelet from all the sushi restaurants since my childhood and it never gets old.
Furthermore, I usually had Soft Cream Milk Dark Molasses & Soybean Flour. It was creamy, fairly sweet, refreshing and one of their best desserts because I was fond of Dark Molasses.
Last but not least, the nigiris from SUSHIRO especially the Salmon ones had always been fresh, tender and superior to most of the conveyor belts. The rice used here was also of higher quality.
Overall, it’s definitely a 10 out of 10 because it is SUSHIRO, never disappoints.
FYI, there were 2 front doors to the restaurant on Chang’an Road and the left door only has lifts and the other door...
Read moreI’ve lived in Taiwan for almost 5 years. This was the worst check in I’ve ever experienced. Don’t come here if it’s dinner rush hour time. They have moved their check in to a QR/app system that nobody seems to understand(even the staff were confused). There isn’t much of a waiting area so people are just shoulder to shoulder waiting for the number to be called. I don’t speak Chinese and they don’t speak English. She managed to tell me wait 5 numbers. I counted 12 before mine was called. I gave them my ticket she scanned it and then told me wait again. She left and came back 5 minutes later and told me sorry that when my number was called I was supposed to scan the ticket with the QR code that she was holding. She said I need to grab a new ticket and wait again. I walked out immediately. Strange how she suddenly started speaking English at the end. I waited 30mins total. Watching people pile on out of the elevator only to try to figure out the QR code was actually amusing. No personal space here. I understand that places get busy. But this was...
Read moreDuring weekday lunch hours, the restaurant tends to be very crowded. We suggest making a reservation in advance or booking online to avoid any waiting time. In terms of quality, this place is a notch better than a few other restaurants we have tried in Kaohsiung. Although there are fewer items on the conveyor belt, we recommend using the ordering machine to make your selections. You can also order ginger slices through the machine. While this place may be on the more affordable side, the seafood is not as noticeably fresh and sweet as some other higher-end options. Nevertheless, the quality here is...
