Zum Fass — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

The first question when I entered into the restaurant was “你有什麼事嗎？”.(what do you want??). I was speechless. In many restaurants we normally ordered 1 dish or 2 with a drink and order something else later if we still have appetite. And when I sat down the owner was surprised because I only ordered cold cut plate($390) and a glass of wine. Two types of salami total around 10 slices with 3 pieces of bread and 2 chunks of butter and few leaves on the top. The price is a bit high compared with other similar restaurants. Food and beer were good, dining environment was pleasant and clean. Unfortunately, their service experience was unprofessional. Neither staff showed any sign of waiter/waitress hospitality in attitude, glasses were not filled when empty, and most upsetting was that the lady was upset with my friend and I sharing the happy hour deal (buy a 500cc draught beer get a 300cc free) at the very beginning - and that was highly unprofessional. When we asked for butter refill, they gave exactly one piece of butter when the basket clearly had 5 pieces of bread left. After 30 minutes of waiting, the owner(or a waiter?) returned, saying my order had not been entered into the computer and asking what the order was. I was embarrassed, had to cancel the order, and leave. The owner or any of the staff members didn't say a word 'sorry'. I realized I was not the only person complaining about the restaurant. The majority of people also complained about their disorderly manner, screwed up system, lack of service personal, very slow service, no feeling of sorry, and not so good quality of food.
