We were eagerly looking forward to a memorable dining experience on our first day back in Taipei after six years. After searching for nice restaurants near our hotel, we were drawn to this izakaya, so we decided to give it a try. We walked about 30 minutes to reach the venue, and upon arrival, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with a younger crowd, which was an optimistic sign.
In my excitement, I ended up overordering—far more than we could reasonably eat. Unfortunately, the food and drinks took quite a while to arrive. When everything was finally served, it was clear we had ordered far too much for just the two of us. Although the server kindly offered to reduce some of our orders from two portions to one, I felt that the initial server should have reminded us about our buffet-style selections to prevent this situation.
By the end of the meal, I was disappointed that we couldn’t finish most of the food on the table. The server suggested we could pack it up, but it seemed pointless to bring leftovers back to the hotel, knowing we wouldn't touch them the next day.
On a positive note, the food was delicious, especially the grilled dishes. However, the chicken organ skewers were underseasoned, which was a letdown. We didn’t get the chance to try many of the later dishes simply because we were too stuffed.
It would be greatly appreciated if the staff could proactively suggest portion sizes to help customers avoid overordering in the future.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that the restaurant only accepts cash or local app payments, which was quite inconvenient for travelers like us. We had expected a modern city like Taipei to be more cashless-friendly...

白天賣的菜單與晚上不同,白天主要是中餐類
雞膝軟骨串炸: 有點油膩,但是口感很好,皮很酥,裡面也很Q彈。熱的時候比較沒有油膩感,不建議放,建議一來趁熱就吃
唐揚雞: 麵衣薄、有雞汁,吃起來肉質不錯,但是沒有胡椒粉或是胡椒鹽,也沒附檸檬之類的,感覺少了一個風味
辛味噌雞肉: 味道不錯,微辣的味道很適合下酒,鹹度適中。雞肉帶一些微微焦香,配菜是炒高麗菜、蒜片、洋蔥,最後上面撒上青蔥,高麗菜帶有水感,又很清脆
炙燒比目魚握壽司: 魚身很軟,肉會在嘴中化開,但是可惜飯有點偏硬,而且魚的後勁有一個腥味會慢慢湧上來,小小的敗筆
炒水蓮: 只有一個感想「過鹹」。脆度有,但是過鹹,配酒來說也是過鹹,水蓮是跟雞肉炒,算是比較特別,一般是豬肉絲之類的。雞肉很嫩,味道反而適中,感覺鹹味全部沾在蔬菜上。
山藥明太子: 口感適中,並不是脆的算是偏軟,我個人覺得這道普通,沒有激推
鹽燒雞肉: 味道太鹹,但是雞肉嫩也可口,但是鹽就是死鹹,甜度沒提上來,非常可惜
蔥雞: 鹹度上也是偏鹹,但是雞肉的嫩口且保有濕潤度跟雞汁,蔥的香氣我覺得也是不錯,但...就是鹹
番茄豬: 蕃茄非常燙要小心吃,蕃茄酸度上來後中和了鹹度,豬的味道還不錯,沒有任何豬臭味,口感上也不錯,表現中規中矩
明太子雞肉: 雞肉本身有保留嫩度,明太子也是不錯,但是我覺得表現也是標準值。
鹽燒雞膝: 烤的功夫是不錯,但是鹽度上還是沒有控制好,還是偏鹹,而且糟的是...鹹是一般死鹹
芥末松阪豬: 芥末有蒜味,肉質是不錯,但是芥末沒有香氣,嗆辣度感覺才剛上來就立即消失,有點可惜。
鹽烤松阪豬: 蒜味很明顯,反而鹽烤的鹹度不明顯,可能豬肉本身有用蒜頭醃漬過。肉片有點薄,在整體口感上比較可惜
洋蔥: 甜度保持著,鹹度剛好,也是有脆度。整體口感上是不錯,但是比較小片,以價格論,個人覺得 CP 值不高
雞胸軟骨: 雞軟骨麵衣不會刮嘴,整體來說鹹度也是剛好,酥炸上的軟嫩度不錯,口感也很好,挺推薦的
雞肝: 表現不錯,醬燒味濃厚,沒有吃到雞的腥味,算是處理的不錯,而且粉嫩的口味保留住,這點很不錯
醬燒雞肉: 醬燒的甜度比較高,雞肉雖然嫩度保持著,但是甜醬吃起來有點膩
秋刀魚: 口感算是嫩,醬的味道算是適中,腥味還可以。但是如果很怕魚味的人可以略過,因為帶有秋刀魚的淡淡魚味,魚裡面有很細小的魚刺,基本上是沒有的,但是吃的時候還是要留意一下。
雞菲力: 有點可惜,一吃下去鹹度整個衝上來,而且沒有肉的香甜味,後勁只留下一個鹹味而已
當天用餐剛好坐的位置是冷氣死角,覺得有點熱。用餐後,覺得料理部份是雞肉表現最好,雞肉系列幾乎都沒踩到雷。
個人酒的種類偏少,燒酒、威士忌蘇打 這些都沒有。而點梅酒的盒子,我個人覺得很多餘,其實原本的酒墊就好
內場三個師傅、外場兩個,服務態度很好,非常親切跟熱情。但是店裡面感覺排煙沒有做很好,油煙味都悶在店裡,有點可惜
另外,一般是中午限定的親子丼,有特別跟店家商量,店家後來有幫忙製作,真的很感謝。
親子丼: 醬汁味道不錯,飯軟硬度上雖然也是偏硬一些些,但是吃起來保有濕潤度,跟醬汁拌在一起很不錯,而蛋的熟度也很剛好,雞肉肉質也不錯,算是軟嫩有口感。
整體來說,只能給三顆星,雖然同行友人說可能會給一顆半,但是我覺得還有是有很多不錯的地方,用餐空間也舒服,服務上也沒問題,等餐時間也還好,但是單價略高份量也少,部份餐點味道也算是差強人意,有些餐點的價格也比想像中高......

The salmon sushi was 70ntd each and the rice/fish was the same quality as sushi express. The beef yakitori was not special at all, the vegetables were just incredibly salty, mentaiko toro and the corn was tasteless. Couldn’t believe it was 1000ntd for 5 small tasteless dishes. Incredibly overpriced for the quality of food, can’t recommend this...
