這間店歷史悠久，以前叫做「胖媽」，幾十年前的醫學院學生都有吃過。 賣飯還有麵，飯類都是3項配菜加上1份主菜。配菜可能是青菜、豆干、豆皮、木耳之類的。主菜有很多選擇，豬肉、雞肉、牛肉、魚肉都有，詳細的種類和價錢可以看下面的照片。 可以特製料理，可以加飯(+5元)、加蛋(+10元)、不要淋滷汁、東坡肉肥一點或瘦一點…有各種需求都可以講講看。 優點就是便宜，現在台北市還有80塊的牛肉麵已經很少見。東坡肉、燒肉、牛肉壽喜燒、椒麻雞，是我覺得還滿特別、好吃的主菜。 缺點的話，中午時人很多，而且常常有醫院的單會進插隊，然後只收現金又拖慢了一點速度。價錢很便宜，所以口味的話，也比較普通一些，配菜很油而且冷冷的。 另外，有些當日限定的料理，沒有在菜單上面，會在櫃檯貼牌子，是店家新嘗試料粴，有時滿好吃的。
