they have some good dishes, overall taste is okay, but if you factor in prices, it's just average. This restaurant was Michelin guide listed, not to be confused with Michelin one star, but are charging Michelin 1 star inflated prices. The taste for the sweet and sour ribs is excellent, however the portion of the ribs were poor compare to what they charged. I counted about a total of 10 pieces, because ribs are mostly just bone, You're not getting much meat. The steam buns were good, nothing to complain about, but not wow. The Sichuan dish has good taste, but lacked peppercorn which is traditional and customary in authentic Sichuan cuisine, giving it the numbing spiciness but otherwise it's fine. Again good enough but lacks a wow factor. The Daikon pastry stuffing did not impress, it was too little, and too bland, it was wrapped mostly by flour dough. Customer service was also not up to not only the price they charge but the fact that they're Michelin guide listed. they simply lack training, and the understanding of customer orientation, some of the staff seem to not want to be there, but only are because they have to be there. The staff lacked knowledge of their own dishes, and when questions were asked, the answer was a I don't know, leaving the customer not knowing what to do with that, what or how to continue to order. None of the staff was new, which says they don't have excuses not knowing their own menu, which is the primary job of a wait staff. My dining experience could have been better by more attentive and...
Read moreif they took the Michelin star plaques off the wall, I'd rate this as 4 stars. the service was ok but not on par with high end restaurants. The servers were visibly annoyed when asked for things like clean plates, and on multiple occasions, servers told us to ask another server.
maybe they close at 8pm, but at 7:55pm, they had several of the kitchen staff walk through the dining room with trash and kitchen scraps. quite the juxtaposition with the stylized/nicer...

Personal advise is to stay with the HandZhou specialities. The menu is only in Chinese but there are a few photos of the popular dishes. Quite a...
