Pork Loin Cutlets Set ($299): I’ve been to the other branch nearby (Hoyii Taipei Station) for twice and Katsuya always makes the crispiest and most umami coatings among the counterparts. The pork loin inside is also quite succulent and tastes even better if you add the tonkatsu sauce. However, miso soup doesn’t taste that good to me because I dislike most of the vegetables especially onions, but can be delicious for anyone else.
In addition, I also added on one cutlet to meal for +$49, plum green tea for +$49, and a Niseko popsicle (salted caramel) for +$39. The tea has a balanced consistency which is sweet and sour equally.
In conclusion, nice service attitude, efficient delivery speed, and reasonable prices. Moreover, there are also a few seats on the second floor. It’s only about 250 metres (820 ft) away from the MRT station exit Z2. Overall, it’s a 10 out of 10!

Read moreNice tonkatsu restaurant located within walking distance to the numerous hotels in the Taipai Train station area. The staff was courteous and helpful in explaining the menu and ordering process since it was my first visit. The food was served quickly and efficiently. The quality however is just average as compared to the various other Japanese fried pork chop restaurants I've experienced. I ordered the shrimp and pork cutlet combo. The shrimp was very small coated with too much batter, and the pork was on the dry side. The dish as a whole was more greesy than the typical Japanese frying technique, and they only offered to refill the shredded cabbage for an additional fee. All the other tonkatsu places I've frequented elsewhere usually offered that for free as a courtesy. Overall, it was an OK experience, more typical of fast food quality than a...
Read moreUbereats, delivery. There was a buy one get one deal for 350ish for 涼夏雞排丼套餐. It was mostly just a few chunks of gristly bits and the stench of rotten oil. Nothing was separated, so everything was soggy. It felt like they were clearing out their inventory and put very little care into the outcome of this product. Tried to finish the first one, but it was just bad taste and bad health. Pecked at the second one and realized it was the same trash. Not one bite was remotely good or edible. ...
