This well-known chain has really gone downhill in recent years. Coupled with the above inflation price increases there's been a real degradation in the quality, and in some branches like the one I just visited, customer service has also taken a turn for the worse. The only positives that can be said about Slylark is that the desserts and drinks are still amongst the best for one's included in a set meal and the portions are quite generous...

Ketchup on a truffle veggie omelete?!? The french would be furious. Smelled amazing when we walked in but it was very underwhelming. I normally don't post bad reviews but for what they charge and what they deliver it was necessary. Also ordered mushroom soup with my omelete and it was cold, told the server but nothing was done to rectify it. Wasnt taken off the bill or offered a hot one to replace?!?
