CHECK inn Taipei Main Station — Hotel in Taipei

I stayed at the 雀客旅館台北站前 CHECK inn Taipei Main Station Branch. This was my first and hopefully last quarantine I would ever have to do. Overall, I have to say I had an outstanding and quality experience! My flight was delayed a day due to the unforeseen weather conditions. Friendly staff was able to promptly change my itinerary. What made this experience wonderful was the AMAZING staff! People who work in hospitality are special! They are not here for the money. The staff are friendly, attentive, passionate, kind hearted, and fun group of people. They go above and beyond, wanting to make sure you have a pleasant and wonderful experience. For that, I want to say thank you to each and everyone there. I especially want to thank Jessica who warmly welcomed me into the hotel the first evening. She happened to be there on my last day of quarantine as well and called a taxi for me. I met other special personnel like Kaku, Sylvia, Sabo, Allen, Eddy and Woods. ❤️ I’m sure there are many more people behind the scenes. The price and value of the hotel was great. 🤩My room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was firm (to my liking), down pillow and blanket, modern vanities including the sink, shower and bidet. Room had hair dryer, mini fridge and electric water kettle. You receive a box of water bottles at arrival. After I emptied the box, I just boiled water in the kettle to drink. I chose the meal option in my hotel package. Good variety of food. If you like to order other food/snacks/groceries, there is FoodPanda or Uber eats. Very convenient. I worked during my quarantine. The WiFi had some instability, but definitely doable. Noise level- you can hear your neighbors. Hopefully you have quiet ones. 😬🤫🤞LOL. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

Smokers- this is a perfect opportunity to quit smoking. You are at high risk for respiratory disease and complications with COVID-19. Not only are you jeopardizing your health but the health of others with second hand smoking. There may be vulnerable people around you who may be pregnant, have allergies, or health conditions that you compromise. If you must smoke, please consider vaping/nicotine...

First of all, the staff are exceptional. They are highly professional and helpful, especially the night staff (we checked in at 3am). We stayed here for 6 nights.

The check in process was fluent and the staff helped us through.

Rooms are very small for two people, we barely had space to open two checked in bags but it has all the amenities you need and will be refilled at your request. The bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable which is the most important when staying overseas. Also the service of the hotel staff overshadows the the small size of the room.

We have not tried breakfast but there is a local breakfast place right outside and is very tasty and cheap.

Location is perfect, very close to taipei main station and hospital station as well as Roosevelt line, which you will need to get to many spots. Within 10 min walking distance to Ximending.

To the hotel, thank you so much for your service, we could not thank you enough. This made our visit to Taiwan very memorable and enjoyable. Xie xie.
