Richdee's Eatery and Cafe — Restaurant in Ban Phan Thom Subdistrict

After being in Thailand for a few days I have yet to have a bad experience with breakfast. That is until today, I ordered the seasonal fruit which was tasty, and then I ordered cereal but when I asked them to clarify if it came with milk or not they just laughed and wrote down my order. When they arrived with my cereal it really did not come with any milk so I had to order it separately, keep in mind the milk cost more than the cereal itself. Even when ordering the milk they still did not understand what I was asking for. I ended paying way too much for something so little and not good. The cereal itself had no flavor and made me feel sick. They never came by again to give the bill so we had to math it out on our own and leave. I don’t usually leave reviews especially when visiting a different country but after seeing a lot of glowing reviews I was hoping...

As a Vegetarian with no egg, the food here is terrifying. For starters they don’t understand English properly(which is fine, i think, but can lead to improper order) We ordered fried rice with vegetables and we got steamed fried rice with no vegetables. On asking, he said you said no meat, no egg, so what should i add. They don’t understand the concept of vegetables or tofu I guess. On ordering hot coffee, we got cold coffee, for hot thai tea we got ice cold thai tea. All in all a bad experience for people who don’t eat...

Really lovely atmosphere. Decent prices for food and drink on quaint cosy cute boutique rooftop view over canal for drinks. They provide shade in the daytime too. Romantic setting. Friendly service, they have a good selection ice cold Thai beers, in the large size so we can share., and a food menu. We were also provided with complimentary tasty sweet potato crisps as a drinks snack, and a small tropical fruit dessert after our meal, nice touches! We will come back ! Good pad Thai and penang & green curry...
