I've had the pleasure of trying Tom Kha Gai (chicken soup cooked with galangal, lemongrass, lemon leaves and coconut milk) at numerous establishments in Krung Thep, but the version at this restaurant stands out as the best I've ever had. Tom Kha Gai in this restaurant is my favorite dish, with its perfect balance of tangy lemon juice, rich coconut milk, and the aromatic flavors of lemongrass, lemon leaves and galangal.
What sets this restaurant's Tom Kha Gai apart from the Tom Kha Gai of other restaurants that I've tried is the prominent flavor of galangal and the fragrance of lemongrass that other restaurants might be inferior, complemented by the creamy coconut milk and lemon leaves. The addition of soft, cooked onion slices and fleshy oyster mushrooms enhances the flavor profile.
The green curry fried rice is also delicious, with a well-balanced seasoning that's neither too salty nor too bland, and the aroma of basil and lemon leaves adds to its appeal. Notably, the restaurant includes healthy vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower in the dish, a thoughtful touch that's often lacking in other restaurants.

Read moreThis was my fourth visit to this lovely café, and I can honestly say — I love it more every time! The food here never disappoints. Everything is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On our most recent visit, we ordered the prawns in curry sauce , crab rangoon and fried rice — both were absolutely delicious. The prawns were juicy and cooked perfectly, and the curry sauce had just the right balance of spice and creaminess. The fried rice was fragrant and satisfying, with generous portions. What makes this place even more special is the warmth and kindness of the staff. They’re always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely sweet. The owner, in particular, is such a kind and gracious lady. She always makes the effort to greet guests personally, which adds such a lovely, personal touch to the experience. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed — a great spot to unwind with good food and great service. Whether you're coming alone, as a couple, or with friends, this place always feels like a hidden gem. Highly recommended if you're in the area and looking for a place that feels like a second home with food that hits the spot every...
Read moreI have been looking at the reviews of Duklong Cafe and Eat for quite a while, and decided to give it a try.
The layout of the cafe is very beautiful, gives a very mid century feel with the tiled floor and ceiling fans.
The servers are very attentive and can converse in English, so i would deduce that it is very tourist friendly.
The menu was properly constructed; the menu was created in English and provided pictures of each dish to help the decision making process.
We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and Stir-fry Chicken with extra White Rice.
The Pad Thai was just as you expected it to be; the texture of the noodles was soft. The level of saltiness is on point, and the dash of lime added a bit of sourness to the saltiness.
The highlight of today's lunch was the Stir-fry, it was perfectly cooked with the right level of saltiness. The chicken was battered and fried before mixed with the sauce; so you had the crunchiness consistency to the dish.
Solid 9/10, definitely worth trying...
