CHARLIE THAI TEA x KAME KAFE - Nimman Soi9 — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

What a horrible service attitude the staff have in this cafe! After ordered my drink, I paid my bill with a 500bath cash,however the staff said they didn’t have small change to return and refused my order! Is that possible for a cafe to run their business without getting enough small change for petty cash and even can not get small change for 500THB? It’s so ridiculous!Do not treat customers as fools!If you don’t want to run your business,just close your shop! The same circumstances I also confronted with the Joost smoothie shop, the staff just go for the neighbourhood shop to exchange small amounts money! I’m really impressed by this Thai tea shop. Living in Hat Yai, I always heard there’s a big difference between southern and northern Thai tea. It’s so fun to be able to try them out side by side. There’s a variety of different Thai teas you can choose from the north and the south. Both the Chiang Mai black tea and the Songkhla tea were so delicious!

I bought some bags of loose leaf tea to take home to do further taste tests.

Cute cafe in the Nimman neighbourhood that serves up incredible Thai milk teas. They have the option to customise which tea (which you can also smell before you order), sweetness level and brew time to decide how intense the tea flavour is. We went with the servers recommendations and opted for the OG and the Charlie with the Chiang Rai Gold and Songkhla tea options. 50% sweetness was more than enough for us (probably would choose 25% sweetness in the future).
