This place is amazing if you are looking for a break from Thai/Asian food! I went around 1:30pm on a Tuesday and there were no other customers yet so I took my time reading the very long and extensive menu with so many options to figure out what I wanted. Once I decided I wanted the grilled veggie burrito (180 baht) with a side of guacamole (50 baht) I looked inside and there was the waitress patiently waiting and ready to take my order (I really appreciated that she wasn't pressuring me). Once I ordered and sat down she brought me chips, salsa, my order of guacamole, and ice water. I quickly devoured the chips and salsa because I was so hungry and they were so delicious. Then she brings me a second serving of chips and salsa and makes sure my water is filled up again! Once my burrito arrived (about 10 minutes after ordering it) I could not believe how big it was and how delicious it looked! Sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, and guacamole smothered all over. I added some of the spicy salsa they keep in a jar next to the napkins and that kicked up the spice level. About 3/4 of the way through the burrito I admitted defeat and asked if I could take the remainder of my food in a takeaway box and she happily and quickly sorted that for me. All together I paid 230 baht for one of the biggest portioned and best non-Asian meals I have ever had with some amazing service to top it off. Two people could easily split a meal here. The cute American owner guy even walked around and checked up on everyone to make sure we were all satisfied. 10/10 definitely recommend!!

The place has both outdoor and indoor seating but facing the busy main road. I sat inside. Staff were half attentive and I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, I waited quite a while given that the restaurant was almost empty, I can only imagine how long you would wait if fuller. The actual meal was disgusting, the bread was flaky & crumbly and tasted almost pure sugar to the point were I could not taste the content of the sandwich. Maybe the content had no flavour? There were no actual chicken pieces in it, just a mayonnaise type of filling that I guess was made using some chicken product!?! When time to pay the bill, I had to go to the counter due to lack of attentive service and was ask about the meal. I told them that the bread was too sweet and that I didn't enjoy it...they didn't even care, its a tough they ask as part of the bill service but don't actually care about the quality of the meal. I said that I wouldn't eat that again but in reflection as I write this review, I won't ever go back nor take friends there as the choice in Chiang Mai means I don't need too. A real Mexican meal can be had opposite Kad Suan Kaew.

I grew up in Southern California and live currently in Denver Colorado where we have great Mexican food . After 5 months of travel in SE Asia. I broke down giving into my Mexican Food cravings. I was nervous but this place was highly impressive ! Different in some ways but amazing. I tried the Chicken Enchiladas. Nice and spicy , nice and saucy, and great combo of ingredients. The salsa for the chips was unique in flavor and also delicious. It gets 5 stars because of the flavors . I would mention though that one day I would love to return and show them how to make some legit Mexican rice ( my gf is Mexican) instead of Spanish rice and how to get the refried beans to that irresistible level . They still were not bad but definitely closer to what you might try in Cuba. Once they master the beans and rice mixed with their entrees this place will be unstoppable ! Also Mickey ( the owner I believe ) was friendly , fun, and made you feel welcomed and kind of like you are at home away from home . I would go back for the food and the service . 5/5 stars all around.
