We had a 7 day-6 night family trip in Chiang Mai, this is our first time in Chiang Mai, the breakfast and brunch in KATI is so good that we ended up enjoying their amazing food and service for 5 days during our trip!
There are diverse choices within both their food and beverage menus. We have tried out so many different dishes and beverages, and we truly love them all!
Their menu choices are also very flexible, you can play around with ordering extra scramble egg, sunny egg, bacon, avocado, baked bean and so on to your salty dishes, and extra fruits, honey, maple syrup, granola and so on to your sweet dishes.
Their coffee menu offers some very creative options. Cocogato (Affogato with coconut ice cream and Espresso shot) and Orangino (Orange juice and Espresso) and Honey Americano.
For salty food, we tried English breakfast, vegetables and grains salad, baked root vegetables salad, triple ham and cheese sandwich with maple syrup, mushroom and sesame hummus toast, avocado salsa toast, Sriracha fried chicken wrap (with omelet style egg and salad) and cheese fried chili chicken burger.
For sweet food, we have tried berry pancakes (it’s called “Berry Me Pancake”, super cute!), Greek yogurt with conola bites (coconut granola) and berry acai bowl, fruit yogurt bowl with honey comb (the honey comb tastes amazing with the whole combination!)
For beverages, we have tried hot milk, hot latte, fresh juice (tomato, pineapple, passion fruit) and pineapple smoothie (actually it tastes more like pure fresh pineapple juice)
Generally, we love them all! The ingredients are fresh. The seasoning is sophisticated and superb. All the waiters and waitresses are all welcoming, warm and professional. The service is smooth and expeditious. Everyday their restaurant is always full of customers, however, their staff is always consistent, steady and seamless.
We are extraordinarily grateful for them to give us such delightful memories during our...
Read moreTucked into a stylish and serene corner, KATI delivers one of the most satisfying brunch experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment you arrive, the aesthetic pulls you in — modern, minimal, yet warm, with wood and white accents that suggest both calm and character. It’s the kind of place where you instantly know you’re in for something good.
The food? Just as impressive as the ambiance. The highlight reel begins with their vibrant acai bowl, a beautiful medley of fresh fruit, edible flowers, and granola that tastes as good as it looks. It’s refreshing, balanced, and packed with flavor.
For something heartier, the sausage plate is a standout — golden hash browns, creamy mashed potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, caramelized onions, and a perfectly rich mushroom sauce. Everything on the plate worked in harmony, no note out of place. The grilled cheese oozed comfort — crispy, golden bread giving way to perfectly melted cheese with just the right salt and crunch.
Now, the fried calamari. Crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly made fresh — no complaints there. The only slight drawback was the accompanying dressing. It leaned more toward a spiced mayo, and while still decent, I personally would have preferred something more along the lines of a tangy tartar sauce to really complement the squid. A small detail in an otherwise outstanding plate.
And then there’s the Thai iced tea. Creamy, sweet, with a robust tea flavor — just what you want on a warm day.
Overall, KATI is a gem. Their attention to presentation, flavor balance, and atmosphere is undeniable. Whether you’re in for a leisurely brunch or just craving something delicious, this place delivers. I’ll be back — and next time, I might just ask if they can throw together a tartar dip...
Read moreWE LOVE THIS PLACE , and I mean LOVE!!!!
We discovers this place half way through our Chiang Mai trip and we came here everyday ever since until we leave , total 3 days in a row . We tried basically all the dishes and every single one of them was fantastic.
Our favourite was the smoothies, French toast , the chicken wrap and the coffees. -Smoothies and smoothie bowls are natural they did not add any sugar. All dishes have immaculate presentations & attention to details. Portions are generous not like the ones you get in London or Europe pretty presentations but you get 2 bites out of the plate and walk out hungry. You can be sure you will be full in Kati! Service is also good, warm welcome and staff speaks good English.
I have seen some previous reviews saying this place is expensive but I have to strongly disagree. This place is actually very inexpensive considering the ambience, service and quality of food you are getting .
Maybe those people who said this place Is expensive should go for something within their budget & stay in their lane.
I addition, I witness some Spanish speaking (white ) ladies came in looking unwashed and sitting with their feet on the chairs. I really don’t understand why and how some people behave like they are in their own homes. How do you expect the next person sit on that chair after your dirty feet has been there ? if you lack basic education or etiquette just stay at home or your own country, so disrespectful.
But For me & my partner this place is 10/10!!!! Highly...
