We arrived at the restaurant at 9:00 PM, even though it closes at 10:00 PM — plenty of time, or so we thought. Right from the beginning, the staff was unwelcoming and made it clear that they were more focused on closing than serving customers. Instead of politely informing us of the last order time, the staff just bluntly said, “We close at 10.” — which felt more like a warning than a welcome.
We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, but what we got was honestly unacceptable. The bread was cold, and the pineapple tasted old and completely unfresh. When we raised this issue, the waiter didn’t believe us until we asked him to try it himself — which he did, and even then, all he offered was to “take the pineapple out.” No apology, no offer to fix the dish. Just a careless attitude.
To make things worse, we were rushed to pay the bill while we were still eating — with 20 minutes left until closing. It felt like they couldn’t wait for us to leave. No patience, no respect, and no sense of proper customer service.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was truly one of the worst. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with basic courtesy or...
Read moreWalked across this place and looked very nice. Went to sit and ordered a coffee and coconut shake. The coffee didn't have any sugar or milk with it (I did get a spoon with it though). Coconut shake they didn't have even do I ordered everything from the menu. Got a passion fruit juice instead, wich was very fresh and tasty.
Opened the food menu and saw that like 1/3 dishes were labeled "cancelled", no problem. Then I order the breakfast from the menu (stuff that wasn't labeled "cancelled") but they didn't have that, I ordered another type of breakfast (breakfast served all day, said the menu) didn't have it. Ok so I move further down the menu and ordered Shrimp soup... guess what. Yhup; "No have". This started to become a bit ridicoulous, so I finished my coffee and went somewhere else.
Atmosphere was nice and service friendly. But if you come here rubbing your hands, ready for a tasty meal, my experience is there are better places nearby.
Or maybe I just had bad luck...
Read moreWhen we were seated and handed the menu we could see that this restaurant was overpriced, most restaurants in Chiang Mai offer similar dishes like green curry, Khao Soi etc and everywhere we've been they've been excellent and cheap at between 50 and 100 Thai bart a dish.
Here the dishes were between 200 and 300 a dish so extremely expensive by comparison, we saw two other tables look at the menu then leave and assume that the prices had put them off, we thought about this too but decided to stay believing that it must be extremely good food to stay in business at these prices.
Unfortunately when the food arrived it was actually mediocre and probably the worst meal we had since arriving in Chiang Mai, I wish we had looked at the Google rating before walking inside because had we seen the low score and reviews we'd have definitely picked...
