Nakara Jardin — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

One of the best cafe in town. Its a bit pricy as its part of the hotel Ping Nakara, but worth to pay for. Nice surrounding and good atmosphere. They only let customers sit in open air area during covid. We booked in advance for Sat afternoon but its not packed. We sat on the river side and view is really good. Although its a summer time but with many trees, we did not feel that hot. We ordered scones and crepe suzette and both tasted so good. Highly recommend these 2 menus. I was pretty much blown away by this little gem. The staff, the food and especially the garden were just fantastic. I worked for years as a gardener in Vancouver and was super impressed with the landscaping at this restaurant. It's right on the river and we showed up at night (It closes at 7pm by the way) so it got a little buggy, but they supplied us with fans, a bug zapper and even a bottle of spray and neither of us were bit once or bothered at all. This restaurant has a very cozy and cool atmosphere right next to the river. There are many places to take great pictures. The garlic bread, mango cake, tiramisu, scones, and chocolate cake were all really delicious. The portion sizes were quite good considering how small cakes tend to be in other fancier restaurants.
