Omara is typically better than three stars; But I had a less than stellar experience with it tonight which I hope does not become their new standard..

I have often ordered their chicken burrito or the beef burrito, and they are usually very good. But tonight I ordered one of each, and they must have a new cook because they are entirely different tonight than they have been in the past. Rather than the abundant chicken or beef, tonight they were filled with small scraps of protein and bulked up with corn and black beans. And the taste was not the same.. I felt like I was eating a vegetarian burrito. If this is their new recipe, I will not be the frequent customer I have previously been. Classic tourist trap. The food isn't bad but nowhere near value for money as the portion sizes are tiny and prices are high relative to restaurants around the area. There was even a Mickey mouse visit during my meal :-) 90 baht for a little chicken n veggies wrapped is absurd. I don’t know what people are talking about on the reviews here but I had such a good meal! Got the Cheesy Quesadillas and a Chicken Cheese Steak. Soo good, yes portions aren’t too good but I don’t want to feel super heavy after a meal anyway so was fine. Prices were also good only spend 200Baht for two meals which I enjoyed.
