Beware of the SERVER named LEK!

I’m not much of a complainer, but I simply can’t let this slide. BEWARE of this SERVER! Yes, I want to emphasize on the word SERVER because I want to put you in your rightful place. You are in no position to give me an attitude or any customer for that matter for no reason at all!

Her name is LEK (at least based on what I gathered), but I made sure I have photos of her for everyone to know.

I went to RENEGADE yesterday around 6PM with a good friend for the 2nd time to unwind after a walking tour which concluded nearby. We asked for a sample, but I already strongly noticed how UNWELCOMING, UNINVITING, RUDE her aura was. The same aura I noticed the 1st time I was there 2 nights before. The way she slammed the shot glasses on the table with the sample drinks we requested was already noticeable, her facial aura was just unfriendly.

First of all, you don’t profile your customers based on how you feel on that day or how they look. Secondly, I’m a paying customer and the least you can do is act nice. I have worked in the customer service service industry for a long time and I have firsthand experiences dealing with different kinds of customer and that’s just not how you treat them. Thirdly, you are a SERVER, do what you’re being paid for, to SERVE your customers properly.

I asked for your name not because I physically or personally like you, I DON’T & you will never be my type. You look like a stressed, bothered, unloved human being. I asked for your name because I wanna make sure I am able to document this.

I love the beer selection but customer service experience is more important to me. I will not put up with an attitude like that. Shape up or find another job, you are not fit to work there.

I want to thank Mark for being hospitable and welcoming. I hope you will have more employees like him. And please train your DIVA employees like LEK with CUSTOMER SERVICE 101, it’s very basic.

I went to Renegade because I heard that they have the best beer in Chiang Mai. What I never realized until a year later, was that their food is also top notch. A lot of people claim to have the best burger here in Chiang Mai, but Renegade is absolutely among the best. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. I like my burger a little under medium and I consistently get it that way, even though I don’t ever expect it. I’ve even ordered burgers to go and they show up wonderfully. Burgers no your thing? Well you will NOT be disappointed by their pizza! It’s fantastic! Crispy crust, great sauce and cheese. I like to support our local businesses especially the ones who are doing everything they can to make it. Yesterday they put out sandwiches that look amazing! I can’t wait to try it. Creative people making great food.. oh and never sleep on the beer.

I had a beef burger and chips here whilst my partner enjoyed a Thai dish. Both dishes were delicious here and perfectly cook. I just loved the food here. The menu is huge here with both western and Thai dishes and also a large range of beers and craft beers. After 5pm there is also a sports bar which opens at the back of this cafe where they serve a wide range of drinks and where you can play pool and also watch some sports.
