Thai 1 On Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Loved this bar relaxed and friendly.Great service and very enjoyable food Staff friendly and welcoming. Staff very attentive and quick. We were.staying in hotel close by used couple of other places but returned to this one as it just was The Best!

with ref to 1* given by Daniel P. and rascist comments. On another further 2 visits we had the misfortune to share the bar with the South African (mentioned in that review) . It turned out he is quite obnoxious/ toxic/argumentative...especially in drink....probably deserving of the comment!

But due to the efforts of Akey and his staff l would still recommend this...

One of the best cooked breakfasts I have tasted in the whole of Thailand. Everything cooked to perfection...homemade local herby sausage pattie, just crunchy enough streaked smoked bacon, sauteed taytas, grilled juicy toms, crispy edged mushrooms and perfect eggs, cooked flipped side but still runny and golden like the sun set over your favourite temple. Good ol beans in a ramakin and buttery toast to finish. Iam chef back home, so you can imagine my hangry delight and know I'm being true! top this off with lovely folk who run the place and a great atmosphere, whether chilling in the day or night. All washed down with a boozey white russian....

Very friendly, and super helpful staff. Being a solo traveller in a wheelchair is very challenging as far as accessability is concerned. The entrances to the bar are not wheelchair friendly, and the toilets are not accessable. To get into the bar/dining area is not a problem, as there is always someone there to help you up the steep ramp or the steps. A great place if you enjoy playing pool, and the food is really good.
