I’ve seen this place advertising few times on social media and always thought to check it out and I’m so glad that I did . Wasn’t so hard to find depending which road you take . If you go from the moat where the Chinese consulate is and turn left on the Tippanet road and approximately 500 meter on turn right on the small street ( before Pink color Thai bank or PEA new building ) and right after you turn right the house / restaurant it will be on your left side . Very clean and cool as well as friendly atmosphere. The young lady was very friendly and more than that the young man that took my order was so polite and was able to speak English very well . So I ordered some basmati rice , garlic bread and some chicken dish and believe it or not I wasn’t even hungry and guess what ? I finished them all . The food was good portion enough for 2 people but I couldn’t resist not finish it because of being so yummy . I even order some food to go that I can try it later or give it away to my friends and neighbors to eat and try it . I will definitely be back as I loved this place and this will be my next Indian restaurant hang out place and I’ll promote their business for them as they are will deserve it. Great food , great service and extremely friendly and polite staff and more importantly super reasonable prices compared to the other restaurants in town . My chicken dish had lots of chicken in it and garlic bread was delicious but I wish it was cooked a bit longer but still loved it . If there was a 9 Stars ⭐️ I would not hesitate to give them as they will deserve it . Thank you all and see...
Read moreOh dear oh dear what has happened to this once excellent restaurant? We found yummy Indian about five years ago and finally thought we had found a decent Indian restaurant in Chiangmai after many years of trying so many other restaurants. The food was always fresh and tasty and the service fantastic. It was a family run place with the mother doing the cooking and the daughter the waitress. On my last visit about a year ago I couldn’t eat my curry as it was full of raw onions and an over powering taste of cumin.I also noticed that there was a Thai lady who appeared to be doing the cooking and a Thai lady serving.I vowed not to return but when three friends said they were going last night I decided to join them.there was one other table of I think four people in last night. We ordered four beers and after five minutes we asked the young waiter again, after ten minutes we asked again both in thai and English but he really didn’t seem to understand.Eventually we got 4 glasses and 1 beer. After fifteen minutes we asked again where the other 3 beers were but again he just seemed confused.Again there was no sign of the mother or daughter who obviously held the restaurant together. At this point we decided to leave. It’s very sad to see such a good family restaurant sink to such a shambles.Needless to say I won’t be...
Read moreThis cosy little home restaurant is a true gem! The Indian food is delicious, with authentic flavors that make every bite satisfying. What really stands out, though, is the amazing service. The lovely young lady who serves is incredibly kind and attentive. She greeted us with a big smile and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. When she noticed our baby boy, she immediately brought over a baby chair and even a car "ride" to keep him entertained. She was so friendly, even taking the time to play with him! Her warmth and thoughtfulness made the whole dining experience even more special. Her service alone is 12 out of 10! Plus, there’s parking available along the street, which is convenient. If you're looking for great food and top-notch service with a personal touch, this place is a must-visit. Thank you, we...
