As soon as I stepped inside Thai Thai Restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma of exotic herbs and spices filled the air, and the bustling kitchen was a hive of activity, churning out plate after plate of mouth-watering Thai cuisine.
I started off with the papaya salad, a classic Thai dish that's not for the faint of heart. The salad was a fiery blend of shredded papaya, tomatoes, green beans, and chili peppers, all dressed in a tangy lime dressing. The heat was intense, but so addictive that I couldn't help but go back for more.
Next up was the pork satay, which arrived on a sizzling hot plate, the meat seared to perfection and served with a creamy peanut sauce. The combination of smoky charred meat and nutty sauce was pure magic, and I found myself licking my fingers clean.
For the main course, I opted for the pad sew ew with shrimp and beef, a stir-fry of thick rice noodles, tender slices of beef, plump shrimp, and crisp vegetables. The dish was well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and saltiness, and I loved the smoky flavor that came from the high heat of the wok.
And of course, I couldn't leave without trying the pad thai with chicken and shrimp, a Thai classic that's always a crowd-pleaser. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sweet and savory sauce was addictive. The dish was topped with a generous amount of chicken and shrimp, and I loved the contrast between the tender meat and the crunchy peanuts and bean sprouts.
Overall, my meal at Thai Thai Restaurant was an explosion of flavors and textures, and I left feeling full, satisfied, and eager to return. If you're a fan of authentic Thai cuisine, this is definitely a spot worth...
Read moreI don’t usually leave 1 star reviews however we ate here last night due to the relatively good reviews however we didn’t have a very good experience.
Service was questionable, the first member of staff wasn’t in a very good mood and that showed. The second member of stuff was useless.
The main reason for the bad review is: My partner ordered a red curry, she had a green curry delivered (she does not like green curry). This is when we called over the 2nd waitress and said that the wrong curry has been given to us. She took it away and walked over to the counter, looked at the written order, came back over said ‘the order says red’ and put the curry back down. The curry tasted like a green curry and was also GREEN. I had sweet & sour which I didn’t complain about but the flavour was very bland and the flavour that was there wasn’t very pleasant (I eat alot of sweet and sour and this is the worst I’ve ever had).
We have been eating out 3 meals a day for over 2 months in Thailand and I have got to say this was the worst food we have had & the service from the lady (wearing a bandana or head scarf I think) was pretty poor, working in a Thai restaurant and looking at a luminous green curry and saying it is a red curry is extremely questionable, I think they just didn’t want to remake it.
We didn’t want to ruin our evening so didn’t make any more fuss, just ate what we could stomach and paid and...
Read moreVisited Thai Thai around 3pm and was so so warmly welcomed by the staff and treated exceptionally right up until we left. I normally don’t leave reviews and I had to post one right when we got back to our Airbnb. Such a sweet and attentive staff, they were so prompt and I felt like they were reading our mind at times with bringing anything we could have needed to the table. We ordered watermelon and lemon shakes, both were incredible. As an appetizer we had spring roles and for dinner we ordered a curry as well as vegetable pad tai. Everything came out quickly and hot. They even brought over complimentary waters when we finished our shakes and after dinner they presented us with watermelon slices... so sweet. Thank you for having us and we...
